Wicket-keeper for Test matches, sweeping on the fence in ODIs. Bizarre.

What's a good score for Sri Lanka from here? They are scoring at under five an over but as Australia showed, if you go crazy enough in the last 10 overs you can stand a chance.

*Not sure I really believe that

I'd need a lot of convincing on there being a better boundary fielder in the world than Jonny Bairstow.

Thanks Jack! Yep, just when it looked like my whole day was going to be spent waiting for the wheel of death to rotate on my screen it's sorted itself out just in time. Now if we can just fix our hot tap so I can have a brew on command we'll be flying.

Game is almost decided after 20 overs. I thought this format was meant to eliminate dead rubbers. Can't they just skip to the semi finals already? How about the next World Cup is just four teams.

    K Mendis 40, Mathews 21

Twice in two balls Kusal Mendis crashes it out towards the gap between deep square leg and deep mid-wicket.

Twice Jonny Bairstow puts in a fine diving stop to limit Mendis to two. Tremendous fielding from the Test keeper.

  12. SL 107-3published at 24.1 overs

    Ben Stokes, stop it.

Angelo Mathews taps into mid-wicket and Stokes runs in, shaping to throw to the keeper but instead flicking it out of the back of his hand perfectly to Moeen Ali.

It was a comfortable single so no run out chance. But that is outrageous skill.

John Leung: New challenge for England today: put an opponent to the sword by bowling out Sri Lanka for less than 200.

Angelo Mathews has a cap on now and plays his first shot in anger. Flaying it up over wide mid-on for four.

Bit of a miscue but powerful enough to clear the inner ring of fielders.

Sri Lanka are content to nudge and nurdle singles off the spinners.

Six off them in Moeen Ali's third over.

Doctor Joker: I think the best team in the tournament so far has been NZ, they have a very balanced team, and are so far unbeaten. They are the team to beat this WC.

  20. SL 92-3published at 22 overs

A bit of turn for Adil Rashid but Angelo Mathews and Kusal Mendis can nudge him around for five singles as the leg-spinner tries to locate his line and length.
