Remarkable. Tom Latham has just tried to reverse sweep the ball with the back of his bat. He didn't turn the bat round in his hands at all.
Is that even a reverse sweep then? What do you call that?

In the last week we've seen some incredible batting, but my two favourite innings have been from the New Zealand captain. He's a master craftsman in knowing how to play an innings. It's the way he seems to read the play, the situation, and work out what shots are on. He plays low-risk shots that give him a huge amount of reward.
Run rate 4.98
A big over for New Zealand - 12 from it.

Williamson 104, Latham 4
Kane Williamson is a very unassuming, even shy, man.
He'll probably describe that century as "yeah, good."
We'll do the praise for him - he's been sublime yet again.

He has certainly deserved it. He's carved a wonderful hundred out for his team.

That short delivery was saying no, you're not gonna get that hundred off me, Kane Williamson...
