    He's safe.

Kane Williamson is a genius! His last two one-day innings are right up there with the best.

Chris Gayle is now departing the field - does he need his shoulder looking at?

That is both West Indies openers off the field now. Evin Lewis is not due to return after injuring his hamstring in the first over of the match.

It means Lewis won't be able to bat higher than seven. Windies could do with Gayle getting back on soon.

  9. NZ 174-3published at 36 overs

    Run rate 4.83

Kemar Roach remains wicketless but is still offering good control, conceding just five from the over.

West Indies want one to bring two.

Fast bowler Kemar Roach is on.

  11. How's stat?!published at 16:13 British Summer Time 22 June 2019

Chris Gayle has just overtaken Courtney Walsh for the most ODI wickets by a West Indies bowler against New Zealand, with 22.

With 15 overs still to go, I'm quite sure New Zealand will want at least another 110, 120 runs. They've got the wickets in hand and Williamson, we know how dangerous he can be.

  13. NZ 169-3published at 35 overs

Everyone at Old Trafford gets a good laugh when the big screen shows a replay of Chris Gayle injuring his shoulder in celebrating that wicket.

He's laughing too and fortunately is OK to continue bowling.

Oooh. And he nearly removes Kane Williamson, the Kiwi skipper backing away to cut, missing and the ball just evading off stump!

The partnership was worth 160 - a record for New Zealand for the third wicket in World Cup cricket.

This partnership had really blossomed quite well. That's a wicket West Indies needed to get themselves back into the game. It was a soft dismissal. It was never going to clear Jason Holder.

Chris Gayle looks as if he's injured his shoulder bowling that! That's a soft-looking dismissal.

    WICKETpublished at 34.3 overs

    Taylor c Holder b Gayle 69 (NZ 167-3)

Make that 214 wickets since Kane Williamson was last dismissed.

Ross Taylor tries to hit Chris Gayle over the top but miscues it and cannot beat the tall Jason Holder at mid-off as the Windies captain catches it above his head.

Gayle punches the air in celebration and does himself a mischief, rubbing his shoulder immediately after.

A bonus breakthrough wicket for West Indies - can they get on a run here?

That Kane Williamson shot in the previous over was superb.

    This was even better...

    Williamson 92, Taylor 69

Good over for New Zealand - eight from it.
