    That would have been out!

Oh my. Jos Buttler taps Mitchell Santner round the corner and goes but Ben Stokes is slow to set off.

Jimmy Neesham slings in a low throw but is miles wide. Stokes would've been a goner.

Right. Drinks on board. Here we go again.

England need 105 runs from 96 balls.

The slower the bowlers, the better for New Zealand, eh? They should've called up our own Matt Henry to partner his namesake.

We are going to keep seeing half chances on this pitch - it's habitual for these two to hit through the line into the leg side but if you do that you will get leading edges.

The slower the bowlers, the better for New Zealand.

You can see more and more people getting to their feet as the deliveries are ticking along, trying to gee England up. There’s not as many nervous faces around now...

  9. Eng 137-4published at 34 overs

Close! Matt Henry draws a leading edge from Ben Stokes off the last ball and it drops just short of the diving Kiwi.

You can feel the support here - a run down to third man gets a near standing ovation...

  11. Eng 137-4published at 33.5 overs

The thought was the crowd cheered that third two in a row because they mistakenly thought it was the 50 partnership a ball early.

No. Every run is getting a massive cheer now. Jos Buttler guides it to third man for a single.

Ben Stokes guides behind point and scurries two more. Superb running by this pair.

And that two is greeted with warm applause. The relief at a run of scoring shots palpable.

Stokes taps a single that takes him and Buttler to their 50 partnership.

  13. Eng 134-4published at 33.2 overs

Matt Henry has been expensive later on in the innings during this World Cup though and Ben Stokes isn't going to let him settle.

Twice Stokes charges, first time he slices over backward point for two, second time he leathers it through mid-wicket for two more.

Matt Henry is coming back on.

Key moment. He was superb with the new ball.

Emma Gregory: This is just too stressful. Coupled with intermittent signal on a train journey and an awful hangover from my brother's 30th birthday bash is making for a rather unpleasant Sunday so far... Fingers crossed Buttler and Stokes can change that.

Mitchell Santner sends down a leg side wide but tightens up and restricts messrs Buttler and Stokes to just a single each.

    Cripes.

Jos Buttler leathers a cut shot and Martin Guptill comes within an inch of pulling off a blinding catch at point.

He doesn't and the ball streaks away for four.

England are going to find it easier to score off Trent Boult than Colin de Grandhomme.

    What a world.
