Kane Williamson rarely shows any emotion. He looks broken now.
He has led his team magnificently and can be very proud.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes: "I'm pretty lost for words. All the hard work over four years, to get here and be champions of the world it's an amazing feeling. I'm pretty done.
"Playing against New Zealand is always a great event, they are a seriously good team and really good lads. I said to Kane Williamson I'll be apologising for that for the rest of my life."

I can't believe what we have just witnessed. The emotions of what we've been through on air... wow, but what about the players?! They gave it absolutely everything.
England batsman Joe Root: "Wow! It's hard to sum it up, what a day, what a tournament. Everyone has done everything asked of them. We have performed under pressure, it was almost written in the stars for Ben Stokes.
"He's had such a tough time, I'm so proud of him and pleased for him and his family."

England bowler Chris Woakes: "I am lost for words. I cant believe what has happened. I can't get my head around it. I thought it was gone needing 30 off 16. It has probably been the best day for cricket in this country.
"I feel like everything that has happened today is destiny."
Jos Buttler does not know who threw the ball in for the Martin Guptill run out that won the World Cup.
We're pretty sure it was Jason Roy.
What a stunning response from Jofra Archer it was to this...
What a hit by Jimmy Neesham too.
Poor Ben Stokes looks hardly able to speak.
Jofra Archer has his hands in his pockets and a broad smile on his face.
England's men join the women as 50-over world champions.
Both sides have also won the World Twenty20.
The set is complete for English cricket.
And in the most amazing way.
England gathered together back in the dressing room for a while but are back out on the pitch now.
A few post-match interviews and more joyous celebrations to come.

Billy Paine: Cricket is the best sport in the world and hopefully today will grow the game for a generation or more. Absolutely incredible. Just incredible.

We played for eight hours, got the same number of runs in the game and in a super over. I don't want to sound like sour grapes, but when you're tied after all that how can you decide...
It's a bit unsatisfactory. I would be happy to share it.
Right here is the replay finally.
That World Cup winning throw was from...Jason Roy.
He fumbled one earlier in the Super Over. Staggering to keep his calm in that situation.
It happened moments ago and I can scarcely believe it did.
Wonderful scenes as this truly admirable, diverse, confident England team stream towards one another and mob each other on the Lord's turf.
Utter delirious joy.

A run-out off the last ball of a tie break - to make it a tie! You can't get a better finish can you? Hard lines to New Zealand.
Ben Stokes was in such good nick he even middled a flukey deflection.
That's a horrid way to lose a World Cup final and New Zealand didn't really deserve for it to be on a rule about boundaries.
The Black Caps were superb, they found a way with the bat to post a challenging total, bowled brilliantly first up and then stayed patient to take crucial wickets later on.
A word for Martin Guptill for immediately signalling that Trent Boult had stood on the rope for that Ben Stokes catch too - astonishing sportsmanship in the circumstances.
They look crestfallen. You couldn't have come closer. You feel for them.
