CricketHer on Twitter: Heather Knight is injured. Definitely something wrong. Fran Wilson is warming up to field. Think we probably won’t see Heather again tonight.

England opener Danni Wyatt, speaking to Sky Sports: "I really enjoyed it. I love T20. Robbo [coach Mark Robinson] said go and express yourself and I tried. They kept bowling outside off stump and that is my strength. It is a good score on the board.

"I am relishing the opportunity to open the innings. My job is to get the team off to a good start. There is competition for places so everyone has to perform.

"Hopefully Heather will give me a little bowl, you never know."

Not much to write home about for the West Indies bowlers - a wicket each for Connell, Matthews, Henry and Fletcher, but all the bowlers were expensive. Matthews' 1-28 from four was the most economical, at seven an over.

And the less said about some of the West Indies fielding, the better, with Wyatt dropped on 14 and 17.

It is an odd culmination to the innings. That is a cracking score and one that will be hard to beat and yet England leave the field with an underwhelming feeling. It feels like there were more runs out there.

  5. Eng 180-6published at 20 overs

Anya Shrubsole has to come out for one ball, and run... but's only a single as Taylor helps the ball to fine leg.

180 is a great score in darts. Will it be enough for England?

Again it's a bit sloppy from England.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.5 overs

Knight run out 22 (Eng 179-6)

Knight hits the ball straight to mid-on, but sets off anyway for one of those singles you'd never take except in the last over of a limited-overs match, and is run out with ease. The skipper departs for 22 from 11 balls.

  8. Eng 179-5published at 19.4 overs

Sarah Taylor ramps her first ball for a single to short fine leg, and Knight is served up a full toss which she helps to the fine leg fence for four. Two balls left.

  9. Eng 174-5published at 19.2 overs

It's unusual for Sarah Taylor to be batting at seven, but she has to run straight away as Knight reverse-sweeps, the ball rather stops in the outfield and England run three.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.1 overs

Brunt run out 2 (Eng 171-5)

Hayley Matthews to bowl the last over. Brunt to face, there's a single, then a horrible mix-up as Brunt sets off for two, Knight was never interested in a second and Brunt is run out by a third of the length of the pitch.

  11. Eng 170-4published at 19 overs

    Knight 15, Brunt 1

England send in Katherine Brunt, ahead of Sarah Taylor, to give it some long handle as the innings draws to a close. She's off the mark with a single.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18.4 overs

    Wyatt c Matthews b Connell 81 (Eng 169-4)

But just as we were thinking about whether Danni Wyatt could become the first female player to score three T20 international centuries, she's caught at cover by Hayley Matthews. An entertaining knock of 81 from 55 balls ends.

Wyatt might just be thinking - is there time?

  14. Eng 169-3published at 18.3 overs

A third successive four - Wyatt blasts Connell over long-on.

Nat Sciver was bowled round her legs a short while ago...

  16. Eng 165-3published at 18.2 overs

Shamilia Connell, having hobbled around in the field, is asked to bowl, and starts off with three ropey legside deliveries. The first is called as a wide, the second is helped on its way for four by Danni Wyatt, and the third is flicked to square leg for four more.

We've seen a lot of fours, but this is the only six we've had today:

  18. Eng 156-3published at 18 overs

    Wyatt 69 (51 balls), Knight 15 (8)

What did I say about Danni Wyatt's fortune today? She comes down the track, nearly chops onto her stumps, but the ball stops in time. Next ball is square-driven for four, and a dabbed single ensures she keeps the strike with two overs left.

England aren't going to be too far off 180 if these two stay in.

  20. Eng 150-3published at 17.2 overs

Leg-spinner Afy Fletcher back, and a delicate nudge to leg by Heather Knight allows an easy two as the leg-side boundary fielders are set so far back.

Yet another misfield at mid-wicket by Connell, who the ball seems to be following, allows England a second run to bring up the 150. "Ultimate Finisher" Knight has 14 from seven balls.
