Time for spin as Mason Crane comes into the attack. Tom Banton misses a slog sweep as the ball turns away from the bat, but gets it right later in the over and finds the mid-wicket boundary to bring up his 50 off 50 balls.

Tom Banton tries to pull Gareth Berg's opening delivery but is through the shot too soon and makes no contact. Four from the over - but the scoring rate isn't really a factor in the game at the moment. Somerset are well in control.

Left-armer Wood gets away with one when Tom Banton pulls a short delivery straight to the fielder at fine leg and has to settle for a single.

Somerset content to bide their time with singles. Chris Wood whistles one delivery past Tom Banton's outside edge, but that's as close as Hampshire come to a wicket.

Kyle Abbott beats Tom Banton with a delivery that darts back into him.

Hampshire have found a better line and length but Somerset have got a flier in the first 10 overs.

A much-needed maiden from Chris Wood, ending with a ball that pitches, bounces, seams away and surprises Azhar Ali, beating his outside edge.

Tom Banton gets experimental as he tries to scoop Kyle Abbott over the wicketkeeper and fails to connect.

From the next delivery Banton tries something more orthodox and drives Abbott superbly through point for four.

Then he gets away with a shot that clears mid-off and lands safely.

Chris Wood replaces Fidel Edwards and restores a little order, before a single by Tom Banton brings up the Somerset 50 in just the seventh over.

Then Azhar Ali finds the boundary square on the off side with a beautifully timed shot and Wood's first over has suddenly cost him seven.

A bit of good fortune for Tom Banton, who drives at Kyle Abbott and gets a leading edge that flies over point and lands safe.

Azhar Ali then eases Abbott to the boundary and the Cider Boys are rattling along in this opening powerplay.

Azhar Ali gets in on the act with an elegant push four four through mid-off as Fidel Edwards over-pitches.

Then he adds two more boundaries behind square on the leg side and Somerset will race to their victory target unless Hampshire gain some control quickly. Edwards is already bowling with no slips.

Tom Banton carves Kyle Abbott to the fence at deep cover for another boundary.

Fidel Edwards strays onto leg stump and Tom Banton helps it around the corner and two the boundary.

Then Edwards drops a fraction short and Banton picks it up for the first six of the innings, before scoring four more in a similar direction.

Edwards is up to 92mph but it's even quicker off Banton's blade. He seems intent on making short work of this target of 245 and he has raced to 20 off 13 balls.
