    I don't believe this.

Australia spinner Adam Zampa bowls a wicket maiden, as Rikki Clarke goes with the final delivery of the over.

After being frustrated with dot balls, he chips to Tom Westley at extra cover.

Worcestershire v Birmingham Bears - no result

One of today's four washouts was at New Road between Worcestershire and Birmingham Bears.

Pears first-team coach Alex Gidman said the washout was "a frustration and a disappointment" after the holders opened with a win over Notts Outlaws last night.

"It was an amazing performance at Trent Bridge," he told BBC Hereford & Worcester. "There were loads and loads of positives. The guys were really chomping at the bit to have another crack tonight.

"It’s a huge fixture, one I know both sets of players relish but we can’t control the weather. It is deeply disappointing for the players and supporters and everyone associated with the club.”

Surrey need 227 runs to win at over 15 runs an over. Openers Aaron Finch and Will Jacks will have a lot work to do...

The visitors will be praying for rain at this point.
