Warner would've been saved on review! Add that to the twist of the tale.
Oh, that David Warner lbw?
It was missing the stumps. Sliding down the leg side. But David Warner didn't review it. Because this match isn't dramatic enough so far.
We've only being going 20 minutes.
I can't take this.

Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
Brilliant! A fantastic bit of bowling by Stuart Broad, he kept the ball full and David Warner couldn't get forward. England have been right on him to start.

I can see bits of sandpaper being waved as David Warner trudges off. What an exit.
Warner lbw Broad 2 (Aus 2-1)
Got him!
David Warner rips his gloves off in annoyance and the noise at Edgbaston gets turned up to full blast. What an atmosphere!
This looked very out, though. Clever from Stuart Broad, bowling at the stumps, trapping David Warner on the crease, and he gets thwacked low on the front pad.
That's a horrible review. It always looked high - David Warner had both feet off the ground when he was stuck on the knee - and it's missed off stump by some distance.

Going to the wedding of two Australians today, not sure if that’s good or bad luck...
Alex, Manchester
And that ball is flying over off stump!
It didn't look right from the moment Stuart Broad went up. And so, England lose a review.

Well, it's off-stumpish. It just didn't feel out.
David Warner hasn't hit it, this time.
He's a long way off the ground though.
Phil Tufnell
Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
This didn't look good.
Stuart Broad likes this!
He thinks he's got David Warner lbw. It doesn't look right, at all, but Joe Root reviews it...

Chris Crowley: David Warner is out first ball - nicks it and doesn’t walk - surprise surprise.
Samuel Ager: He will get a ton now. You can just feel it.
Greg: Should never have reviews in cricket. Third umpire should always check close calls and make the decision. It really is that simple.
Bancroft 0, Warner 2
David Warner inside edges this latest James Anderson delivery just past his stumps, but he's aware enough to jog through for a single.
Yet another play and a miss from Cameron Bancroft to end the over, the batsman pushing forwards and watching the ball just wobble past his outsdie edge.

Warner is getting a pretty firm admonishment from umpire Dar here. That's exactly where Lyon will be aiming at later in the Test.
David Warner is getting a talking to from Aleem Dar because of where he's standing.
He's batting a long, long way out of his crease. That gets the crowd going.
Jonathan Agnew
BBC cricket correspondent
He completely defeated Warner there.
Beats him all ends up!
David Warner has a smile on his face as James Anderson turns him inside out, drawing him forward and then just nipping the ball past his outside edge.

Early controversy. No squad numbers on the scorecard. Plus, they are on shirts but not sweaters.
