Twice that's happened to Wasim, the under-edge for four.
Morgan 31, Roland-Jones 8
Imad Wasim returns an over later than Steven Mullaney's plan and it's fine start with three dot balls to Toby Roland-Jones.
Ro-Jo gets fortunate off the last ball with an under-edge that nutmegs keeper Tom Moores and races away for four.

If Morgan faces 20 of the balls remaining he could easily get 40 and get Middlesex up to a decent total.
Run rate 7.36
It's Dan Christian though who keeps himself on to bowl and nearly gets Eoin Morgan to fall into his trap at short third man.
Just lands short of the fielder on the single.
Morgan finds another boundary off the last ball as he steers it behind square on the offside.
10 off the over.

I think I'd bowl Imad Wasim next against Morgan.
Run rate 7.15
Toby Roland-Jones out there now in the middle with Eoin Morgan.
Huge pressure on the Middlesex lower order to stay with him.

Simpson looked in good nick. Still the big wicket of Morgan to get but if you'd offered Notts Roland-Jones walking in with seven overs left they'd take that every day of the week. As long as Morgan is there Middlesex will still be confident though.
Simpson c Hales b Patel 25 (Middlesex 90-5)
Notts grab another timely wicket....
John Simpson tries to smash Samit Patel straight over his head but underclubs that one as Alex Hales takes the simple catch on the long-on rope.
Vital breakthrough.
Middlesex 89-4
Samit Patel dispatched again by Eoin Morgan.
Over on to the legside this time with a big hit.

Great effort for the caught and bowled, it looks like it is sticking in the wicket a little bit.
Simpson 25, Morgan 13
Notts skipper Dan Christian spills a caught and bowled chance offered to him by John Simpson off his first ball.
Tipped over the crossbar sadly by the Aussie after a clever bit of variation.

I don't think it's going to be the traditional 185, I think 170 would be a good score.
Middlesex 79-4
Here we go! First six of the game....
Eoin Morgan spoils that rather tidy first over from Samit Patel by opening up the offside and sticking him half a dozen rows back into the Larwood & Voce Stand.
Put down by the guy in the crowd - should've held on to that as he got two hands to it!
Time for a bit of Notts fans' favourite Samit Patel with his slow left-armers....

I think Carter will play for England, he's a phenomenal off-spin bowler. He's given Notts a great start.
Carter 4-0-16-2
Matt Carter completes his four overs and what a return from the off-spinner. 2-16 from his allocation.
Halfway stage of the Middlesex innings already and what a first 10 overs it's been.
Middlesex have lost some of their big names early on and Imad Wasim has played a key role in that for Notts....

Simpson is a very very good player, Morgan obviously world class so this is very big. You fancy if you get one more wicket it could be massive for Notts.
Run rate 6.89
Luke Wood back on for a third over and John Simpson drives him uppishly for four through extra cover.
Nice shot, great timing.
Eoin Morgan just settling in for a bit with some deft touches.
The two highest one-day international totals have been made at Trent Bridge but the top score at the ground in the Blast this season is a relatively modest 184-4 made by Notts against the Bears last month, when Tom Moores struck six sixes in his 69 from 38 balls.
Not looking like we'll see a bigger total tonight, but who knows?
