"Who's your money on here?" asks Jack Skelton next to me. I'm still saying England but I'm not as confident as I was at the start of the chase.

Tom Curran has started his second over well.

So there's a bloke who just scored three fifties in eight innings in the BBL and got replaced by AB, secured contracts in Pakistan, Kolkata and a 100k contract for the Hundred and is the second leading runscorer in the Blast last year and Denly's playing. DENLY. I'm apoplectic. Open Bairstow (to recreate the only opening partnership to bring England a white-ball World Cup) drop Buttler to 5/6 as a finisher and bring Banton in at 3. It seems sensible, if not obvious.

England were 38-1 at this stage. There are one or two nervy expression on the faces of the few England fans in the ground.

    Three sixes in Moeen's over.

Six more for Quinton de Kock. Moeen drops too short again. This is flat and clears the rope but a foot.

Terrible ball from Moeen, but that six from de Kock beautifully sailed over the stands and onto the main road behind.

Quinton de Kock puts hits Moeen Ali out of the ground! That's huge.

Not a great ball and it got the treatment.

Eoin Morgan is keeping going with Moeen Ali.

It has been a good start from South Africa but they're still behind the rate.

This would have been a Chris Jordan special in his follow-through. There are not many who could have caught it but it looks like Jordan thinks he could have pulled it off. He has his hands on his head.

The South Africa fans leap out of their seats and eave their lags as Jordan is flicked for six by De Kock. That's the first six of the innings.

    Need 182 from 102 balls

Moeen's over is spoiled when De Kock sweeps him for four off the final ball. That looked very easy for the left-hander. I can't work this pitch out. Is it a road or not?

  16. SA 19-0published at 2.5 overs

Has the outfield slowed up or has Bavuma just not middled the last couple? The opener hits Moeen over the infield but Ben Stokes charges after it and pulls the ball up before the rope. Just the two.
