Is there a better way to spend Valentine's Day than watching the cricket? I'd say no.

Let's make it even more fun by creating a cricketing Valentine's XI.

Dawid Malan has scored five T20 hundreds, more than any player in the England squad.

He has scored three T20 centuries in the last 12 months.

Today he'll be carrying drinks again.

  4. 'We want to impose ourselves on the game'published at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2020

England captain Eoin Morgan: "I'd have done the same and bowled first, but it looks to be a good wicket. At least with the bat we can impose ourselves on the game early on. We're looking for a marked improvement from the last game. We're unchanged today, we have all areas covered and it is more an execution of skills we need to sharpen up on."

South Africa captain Quinton de Kock: "It's going to be a pretty good wicket and think there might be a bit of dew on the pitch and the outfield later.

"I hope our players bring out the energy we've spoken about and we show that ruthlessness. We're trying to make sure we're on the mark."

Wednesday's defeat in the first T20 at East London showed England have work to do if they are to complete a 50-over T20 World Cup double.

Captain Eoin Morgan himself said his side have "lessons to learn" following the one-run loss.

England were in prime position to get over the line. They now must win both of the remaining matches to win this T20 series.

    Roses are red.

    Violets are blue.

    England have one World Cup.

They must improve to make it two.
