  1. Last time out for Thailand...published at 03:36 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

...it wasn't a fairytale win on their major ICC global tournament debut, but they impressed everyone with their fielding in particular, before bowing out to West Indies by seven wickets.

  2. Captain's viewpublished at 03:35 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

England captain Heather Knight: "I was going to bat, so I'm not too fussed. The wicket looks a bit patchy so it could be a bit two-paced. Our bowling performance was outstanding against South Africa, but we had too many dot balls in the middle overs when we were batting. When you don't know the opposition that well, you can focus on your own game."

  3. Captain's viewpublished at 03:34 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2020

Thailand captain Sornnarin Tippoch: "We are going to field first because we are confident with our fielding and bowling and we will try to restrict England.

"We are unchanged from the first game."

  8. Lights, Canberra, action?published at 03:20

Morning, everyone. It's been a cracking start to the Women's T20 World Cup down in Australia - the two favourites both lost their opening games, we've had some thrilling finishes, unlikely heroines, precocious teenagers and after six games, it's no exaggeration to say none of them have been one-sided.

The tournament has moved a couple of time zones over from Perth to Canberra, so it's all eyes on the Manuka Oval for today's double-header. We'll bring you West Indies v Pakistan later, but first up, please step forward, meeting for the first time, England and Thailand.
