It helped that Jermaine Blackwood came in to bat just before lunch so it forced him to put his ego aside for a couple of overs and get his team to lunch. He then came back and resisted the bait from Dom Bess and then he batted eloquently, classy, calmly, care free. Adjectives you don't normally use with Blackwood.
England will be left ruing missed opportunities.
Things could have been very different had these openings been taken.

Lee Fergusson: Well played West Indies...England simply weren't good enough
Matt Bell: A well deserved win for Windies, we’re better than England in all forms. England need to improve next test match, Root in for Denly and Broad in for Wood will help
Who you picking for man of the match?
Jermaine Blackwood has to be in with a chance after that 95 today. West Indies were 27-3 when he came in. He won it for them.
Praise from cricket royalty...

Blackwood played brilliantly. We talk about the rash shots in the past but none of that. He left his ego at the boundary and played every ball on its merit. He's obviously a talent, no doubt about it.
He can bat, he has a very solid technique. He didn't take any of the bait England offered, batted sensibly, didn't always have to crash boundaries.
He definitely won the game for West Indies. That innings was the difference.
There are friendly fist bumps between the teams. Well done to both sets of players.

As always, the decisions you make when you lose the game will get scrutinised. But whether they got the decision to bat first or leave Stuart Broad are discussions but ultimately they didn't bat well first innings. It wasn't a good score. It wasn't enough on that wicket.
Yesterday when they were 248-3 to be bowled out for 318 has cost them. All the talk about the toss and Broad will be the main headline but I think the batters have to take a bit of that blame.
There are no crazy celebrations.
West Indies know there is work still to do on the tour but there are broad smiles. This may be a nod to the wider world and if so, good on them.
The tourists have fully deserved that.
There it is.
A famous victory for West Indies.

There will be some relaxing up there in the West Indies dressing room now.
Scores are level!
A cut from John Campbell.
Ben Stokes walks back to his mark with his hands on his head.
Need five more runs to win
Ben Stokes comes in and gives Mark Wood a fist bump and a pat on the back at the end of the over. I think he knows.

People will talk about the toss decision and leaving out Broad, but England fought back and had their chance and didn't take it and that's what they need to focus on. It's been a great Test match but those decisions aren't why we lost.
Michael, Viney Hill
There was a bit of turn for Bess. He did cause problems but he also leaked singles. That could be the reason.
Campbell takes West Indies one closer.

The Void: If the reason for batting first was that spin would come into play later, why has Bess only bowled 10 overs?

That was a good bouncer. Right on the money.
John Campbell may struggle to join the West Indies celebrations. He already had a busted toe and now has taken a Mark Wood bouncer in the grille.
"Ya alreeeet?" says Wood -
That's 'are you OK?' if you need the translation.
Need 6 to win
West Indies are just one blow away from a fine victory now. Will either batter be tempted?
