Wouldn't it be great if we started post-lockdown cricket with one of those thrilling final days, like the two from 2019?

    It could happen.

Coincidentally there's a special programme on BBC Two tonight at 20:30 BST - One Day: Sport's Super Sunday - looking back almost exactly a year to that glorious Sunday when all eyes were on Lord's and Wimbledon.

  5. Late slump leaves West Indies as favouritespublished at 10:36 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

England's loss of five quick wickets late last night has West Indies as favourites going into the final day.

The hosts will resume this morning on 284-8, leading by 170.

West Indies should be confident of chasing that, although it would not be easy, but if England's final two wickets can squeeze out another 30 runs things will really be in the balance.
