A thoroughly entertaining evening session.

If England could get 85 overs at West Indies tomorrow they'd like that. Root will probably want to be 300 in front. They will want another 120 runs and if they can do it in 20 or 25 overs that should give them time to have a burst with the second new ball tomorrow night.
Will England promote Jos Buttler up the order to help get quick runs? They have done it before.
Back in 2015 in Abu Dhabi late on the final day, England needed 99 in the fourth innings to beat Pakistan as the light faded. They promoted Buttler to open with Moeen Ali.
Alastair Cook scored a double hundred in the first innings but didn't get to bat.
England reached 74-4 after 11 overs but were beaten by the light.
Stuart Broad finishes with 3-66, while Chris Woakes claims 3-42. Sam Curran struck twice and there was a wicket apiece for Ben Stokes and Dom Bess.

Gone!
Stumps well and truly smashed and West Indies are all out for 287, giving England a lead of 182.
Everyone has cracked up laughing apart from Shannon, who is in a bit of discomfort.
Out comes the physio, who is also laughing.
Shannon Gabriel is beaten all ends up by Chris Woakes, who swings a delivery just past his off stump.
Ooh. Ooh, that's not nice. Gabriel has been hit... amidships, shall we say. I'm sure he'll be comforted by the fact that Kemar Roach has absolutely cracked up laughing.

You can see why Michael Gough gave that not out. He has had a really good match as an umpire.
I think that is the only one he has got wrong.
Shannon Gabriel averages 4.74 in Test cricket, so this may be over quickly.
He's also got an awful lot of padding on; arm guard, chest guard, long sleeve top, cable knit jumper...

It kept a bit low and rushed onto Roston Chase. It was a difficult ball to face. In these conditions when the ball is doing a bit you can't get much better than Chris Woakes and Stuart Broad.
Shannon Gabriel is the last man out for West Indies.
Chase lbw Woakes 51 (WI 287-9)
And out it is!
It looked right and indeed it is. A little low, a lovely bit of shape back into the batsman, and Roston Chase's swipe forward just missed. Excellent reward for Chris Woakes, but it's been a fine innings from Chase.
It's come back in by some way.
This looks out, you know...

Michael Vaughan is giving it out.
A last roll of the review dice from Joe Root, as Roston Chase is pinned by Chris Woakes...

Ross Auld: England have to play T20 style. Whacky-smacky cricket.
Sam Mossop: Buttler’s chance to show he’s a T20 opener?
I've thoroughly enjoyed Roston Chase today.
He brings up a well-deserved 50 courtesy of a scampered single.

It is a crucial last hour of the day. If England can be batting in the next 20 minutes it sets it up for a tremendous final day.
Here's the moment West Indies avoided the follow-on.
