Ben Stokes set off before the ball had even got down to Joe Root!
The sun is out now. All fears of that early morning drizzle seem to have gone.
There's a lot of shouting and commotion out there with Stokes and Root running on every ball.

Jason Holder is coming on to take on the responsibility himself.
Sam Curran? Ollie Pope?
Jason Holder brings himself on.
I think they'll go on longer yet but if England were to declare at the end of this over they'd have 91 overs at West Indies.

Who do you reckon will come in next? I can't think Dom Sibley is going to stroll out there...

If Stokes had got hold of that he wouldn't have just hit the media centre, he'd have destroyed it!

I think my arm would come out of its socket if I tried to swing as hard as Stokes just has. He missed this one but it would have gone a mile had he connected. Gabriel has a smile on his face.
Stokes takes two from the final ball.

England can quite easily, now, get up to a 300 lead and have 85 overs to bowl. It's perfect.
The field comes in a little with Root on strike and he knocks the ball into a gap for a single.
Stokes has two balls left in the over for some more carnage.

Loving this - it's the cricketing equivalent to the goalie coming out of his box for a corner at the other end in the 90th minute...
Chris, Somerset
It's fair to say Stokes got hold of this one...

That's the 50 partnership in seven overs.

Jason Holder has to be very careful that his mindset doesn't change. Be careful that you, as leader, are not sending a negativity around your team. It's difficult, but you really have to be on it as a leader. If they go into it with any type of negativity, West Indies will get blown away.
This is so much fun. Stokes is flaying the ball to all parts. Good footwork on the rope prevents a boundary.

What's important here is that Stokes keeps the strike for the Shannon Gabriel over.

Joe Root has absolutely stolen that single. They've picked their man - it was Shannon Gabriel lurking at mid-wicket.
95 overs remaining
It seems West Indies have decided bouncers are there way to stop the scoring. Ben Stokes still tries to slash it from in front of his helmet but he clunks the ball for a single.

Sean West: I would be very scared to drop a catch off Shannon Gabriel.

That is harsh...
