It hit Shane Dowrich in the left cheek. He was very stoic getting up and calmly walking off, but that must've been agony.

It was actually also a no ball by Shannon Gabriel.

Shai Hope will likely be taking over behind the stumps now.

It's not been an easy game for keepers. That's a nasty moment.

Shannon Gabriel sends down another fierce 90mph short ball that climbs sharply past Rory Burns and ends up hitting Shane Dowrich straight in the face.

A nasty moment and the Windies keeper stays down for a while before getting up to be escorted off the field by the physio,

Rory Burns tries to duck a quick, short delivery by Shannon Gabriel and ends up wearing one in the chest.

He shrugs it off and carries on.

You're next to me in the hotel, Carlos. You are an early riser, I've heard some scratching going on next door. It's that noise of someone moving around, trying to be quiet of course.

On the other side I've got Isa Guha and I've not heard a single sound from her at all. It's like she's a little hamster that goes in there and wraps herself up in the duvet. Not a squeak.

Against West Indies at Headingley in 2017, Joe Root declared when England were 490-8 late on day four, setting the tourists 322 to win.

They reached their target thanks to one of the greatest ever Test innings I've ever seen by Shai Hope.

It still staggers me that his only two Test centuries both came in that match - the first person to ever score a century in both innings of a match at Headingley in first-class cricket.

New to cricket. If a team declares and then the other team beat it, do the declared players get to come back and bat? Or does the whole team start again?

    Chris, Birmingham

Afternoon Chris - in short, no. If England declare here with a lead of 349 for example, if West Indies reach 350 they will win the Test and the series. That's part of the problem that Joe Root faces, knowing when to declare so that the West Indies realistically shouldn't win.

    Lead by 185

Shannon Gabriel from the James Anderson end and Rory Burns taps it wide enough of mid-wicket to pick up a single.

Dom Sibley taps into the covers, spots Jason Holder won't be able to pick it up left-handed and therefore has enough time to take a sharp single.

You can't help but feel that England will have to declare today and have a bowl tonight. It then opens up the intriguing possibility that if it doesn't rain tomorrow West Indies have all that time to chase whatever Joe Root sets them.

Interestingly Jason Holder is not fielding in the slips, he is stood at mid-on. The ball was thrown to him then and he caught it with just his right hand so it's obviously not very good.

Kemar Roach to Rory Burns first up and the England opener clips a leg-side delivery down to fine leg for a single.

Jason Holder is not in the slips because of that thumb injury and is fielding at mid-on instead.

So England will resume 182 runs ahead, looking to make positive progress towards an insurmountable target and ensure they have enough time to bowl out West Indies, given the rain set to fall tomorrow.

Windies captain Jason Holder is fortunately back out on the field after sustaining this injury shortly before the lunch break.

England openers Rory Burns and Dom Sibley are making their way back to the middle.
