If only he'd sent a tweet four years ago predicting it wouldn't rain on Monday 27 July 2020 in Manchester, despite what the forecast said.

    Right. Yes. The weather.

It's leathering it down in Manchester right now, not so much cats and dogs as tigers and wolves.

No chance of play this morning and there is more rain forecast later.

The best chance of play could be in the early/mid-afternoon, provided the outfield can dry in time.

But it's also worth bracing ourselves for today to be a total washout, I'm afraid.

Hello and welcome to live coverage of day four of the third Test between England and West Indies at Emirates Old Trafford.

Although - *looks outside window* - how much live coverage we'll be able to actually bring you today is questionable.

Either way, England look on course for victory in this match and therefore series thanks to Stuart Broad's six wickets on Sunday.

He took the final four wickets in Windies' first innings, before England made 226-2 declared, setting the tourists an unlikely 399 for victory.

Broad then returned to remove John Campbell and nightwatchman Kemar Roach late in the day to move to 499 Test wickets.

It's Stuart Broad's bio-secure bubble and everyone else is just living in it.
