If Rashid's knock turns out to be the difference, can we do what Rajasthan did with Sunil Narine and get him opening the T20 batting?
Harry in Durham
Target 232
I think Alex Carey might actually be batting his eye out, rather than in. He's swinging like a punch-drunk heavyweight. He gets a single from the last ball, so will at least be on strike when Adil Rashid comes on. This has to be the time to go. They need almost 12 an over.

Stephen Hutchings: England showing why they are the best team in the world, they have runs all through the team and the bowling line up is a frightening proposition for any side trying to chase a target, even when we go 6-7 wickets down we still put on decent scores.
Target 232
Someone should mention to the Aussies that they need some boundaries if they are going to win this. We haven't had one for 47 balls. Their run-rate has fallen like the UK's GDP.

Jason Cole: Justin Langer is looking like the Terminator from Terminator 2 right now.
Target 232
THE Martin Lewis! The bloke who saves you money. I reckon he'd make a good skipper. Tom Curran ends his spell with 0-28 from 10. No wickets, but so valuable. His batting kept England in this game too.

Target 232
Carey has been in for ages but is barely looking like middling one. Hazlewood on strike for the last ball of the over...

There's only been one boundary in the last 15 overs - the Pat Cummins six off Adil Rashid.
Target 232
Look, no one likes bashing the Aussies more than me, but I won't have a word said against Adam Zampa's mullet.
#bbccricket
Spice: Zampa's mullet back where it belongs: in a biosecure hutch.
Target 232
Carey pinches a single, so at least keeps the strike for the next over. You feel this one has got to go. It's no use him getting a red-inker in a defeat.
Phil Tufnell
Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
It was a strange knock - he only got two off 19 balls and Alex Carey was doing nothing at the other end either. They were just chewing up deliveries.
Jonathan Agnew
BBC cricket correspondent on Test Match Special
I'm not really sure what Adam Zampa was trying to do there? You feel that is probably the end for Australia unless Alex Carey can do something remarkable.
Zampa c Archer b S Curran 2 (Aus 176-9)
That must be the ball game.
Adam Zampa chips Sam Curran to Jofra Archer at mid-off and Australia are nine down.
Only Josh Hazlewood stands between England and victory.
What an incredible turnaround.

Since the 2015 World Cup among batsmen 8-11 in one-day cricket, England are the best in terms of average (21) and strike-rate (97). Australia's average 12.4 with a strike-rate of 94 - that's only the eighth best.
Australia's four to seven average 32.8 while England average is 40.7. England's is the best again with Australia seventh.
Australia's top three average 45 - the third best.
Their top order is effective, their middle order is struggling and their tail is a real weakness.
Target 232
When Australia were coasting there were about 40,000 people in this page. Now there's around 110,000. I'm not judging the 70,000, but where were you when England were struggling?

Bridgey: Not saying it’s me, but I turned on when the score was 144-2...
Target 232
Correct, Graham. Cricket and darts...
