In fact, I'm going to do everything I can to get my hands on one of those Pakistan tracksuit tops. It's been pointed out to me that Peter Kay's character in Max and Paddy's Road To Nowhere wore a Pakistan shirt, which seemed a bit random at the time. Where else has there been cricket kit in strange places? I'm fairly certain one of the baddies in an old Doctor Who wore batting gloves.

Mohammad Abbas - a bowler with the accuracy of Japanese train schedule - shares the new ball. He draws Dom Sibley forward, the England opener blocking in defence.

    A maiden.

Stuart Broad has taken three or more wickets in six consecutive innings. He is the first England bowler to do that since Graeme Swann in 2009.

Shaheen goes in search of the delivery that did for Burns in the first innings - full and swinging into the England opener's pad. Better from Burns this time, keeping his balance and getting a couple.

    275 to go.

If England go aggressive, I expect this to be over by tea - and not in a good way.

It's 15 years and a day since England beat Australia on the fourth day at Edgbaston. Could we be in for similar today?

There's a lot of chat coming from the slips as Burns pokes forward.

Struggling to think of a cooler man in international cricket than Misbah. The beard. The shades. Also, those Pakistan tracksuits are smarter than a Countdown champion.

    Target 277

England will get a full working over from everything Pakistan have to offer. It'll be the left-arm pace of Shaheen Afridi first. Abbas and the spinners will come soon enough.

    Good luck...

England can't lose early wickets. If they lose three wickets in the first 10 overs then they have no chance. You have to build a foundation at the top of the order.

A punch of the gloves from Rory Burns and Dom Sibley. England need them to step up.

Bowling coach Waqar Younis is talking to Azhar Ali, the Pakistan captain. I'm sure they won't change their approach from the first innings. Aggressive, nice and full at the start. Then reassess when the ball is 20 overs old.

England to attack? I fear for Joe Root's mentions if he gets out charging down to Yasir Shah.

Mohammad Abbas is probably the best seam bowler in the world on these kind of surfaces. Then you've got the two leg-spinners. This is going to be an incredible challenge for England.

I've heard whispers they're going to be aggressive and take it to Pakistan and that's all well, but you can't do that from ball one. You need to get settled.

It was only 15 minutes but those blows from Pakistan have put England right on the back foot.

They could be a little dazed. These few minutes are needed to compose themselves.

A big batting effort is required.

Younis Khan, the batting coach, is on his feet and clapping them off. He knows that little cameo, 32 runs this morning, can make a massive difference in this Test.

Full and straight does the job. England hardly celebrate.

How costly could those 32 runs be?

England will need 277 runs to win.
