Drinks is probably quite good for Pakistan. They need to break things up a bit and sometimes a drinks interval can do that.

And that's drinks. That hour has flown by.
It has been England's spell since tea. They've added 49 runs without many scares.
Need 61 more to win
I can't believe Pakistan haven't bounced Chris Woakes more than they have. He was hit on the head in the first innings and was nearly out a few overs ago to a short ball from Naseem. There has been nothing in that area since.
Woakes clips a single off his toes as if to prove my point.

Mark Davies: If Jos Buttler pulls this off, it kind of negates the 'Only specialist keepers can win Test Matches' debate.
Shaheen Afridi, who bowled this brute to Ollie Pope earlier, is back into the attack.
How good have Buttler and Woakes been?!

Pakistan have realised they need a wicket, the energy and noise level has gone up out there.
Need 63 more to win
I've seen enough of these games to know there is ALWAYS a twist. It won't be a cruise to victory.
Woakes pats back the rest of Yasir's over.

Ed: I reckon that another twist is due. With a Pakistan wicket or two now, every single run will be painstakingly hard to get from the tailenders. I suspect England will need 30 runs with 3 wickets remaining,
Yasir Shah is tossing the ball up into the dirt. There's a fair amount of it. Buttler is going to sweep. He misses the first attempt but gets a single from the second.

John Petrie: You can feel the tension. The crowd is almost silent.
A big few minutes coming up now. Azhar Ali turns back to his main leg-spinner Yasir Shah.

Buttler 51, Woakes 53
Oh I was at that stage 40 minutes ago, Vic. That's why I'd be a terrible international sportsman.
SIXTY FOUR TO WIN.

We've reached the sweaty palm stage. I think England are favourites, as it stands.

This has been some of the most wonderful batting you could wish to see.
This really is on, you know. Chris Woakes drives a second successive four.
Ben Stokes is clapping high above his head as Woakes waves his bat to mark his half-century.
Azhar Ali has his hand over his face.
Short from Naseem... Slapped for four by Woakes.
England are less than a Stokes-Leach (shall we call it a Steach?) away now.

It's been a wonderful innings from Buttler - the moment Ollie Pope got out to a brute of a ball, he changed the momentum of England's innings.
With everything that has happened to him in this game, this is a fine knock from Jos Buttler.
50 from 55 balls.
Can he finish the job?
