Fawad's toes are facing the bowler, as he stands over at leg stump, then he goes all the way across to outside off stump.
Fawad Alam's batting set-up is both amusing and obnoxious, if you're a bowler. He shows Stuart Broad all three stumps before stepping forward and across. Very Simon Katich-esque. I miss Simon Katich.
Is that his first run in 10 years? Nope, it's a bye. The wait remains.

James Brook: RE: 11:28 BST - Yes, the bail is dislodged from the grooves which constitutes a run out (provided the batsman was short of his ground).
Fawad Alam sees off the final ball from Jimmy Anderson.
The absolute maverick umpires have allowed us to start a whole 20 seconds before the clock ticks over to 11:35.
Well, that was annoying but ultimately not too lengthy a break.
Jimmy has got one ball in his over to complete, and it'll be to new man Fawad Alam.

Bhavik Kapadia: Anderson is unbelievable in English conditions. Don’t understand the constant topic of retirement that pops up. Outstanding bowler.
I see players.
Here's one for you all...

All being well, we'll be up and running again in 10 minutes time.
Jimmy was at his mesmeric best last night - setting Shan Masood up like a kipper. He bowled two deliveries which swung away from the left-hander, then trapped him lbw with one which came back in. A magician!
An even better sign is that Alex Wharf has put his brolly down.
The groundstaff are rolling the covers up, which is a good sign.

I'm trying to think if I've ever seen fourth umpire Alex Wharf without his umbrella. I reckon he must go everywhere with it. Like one of the bankers from Mary Poppins.

Marc Sepetowski: You really fear for Pakistan here. Rizwan aside, where is the fight? Where is the resistance going to come from??
Watching the below video, you can see why Tuffers did so well on Strictly. All that natural rhythm. Ahem.
