That's a very good catch, Rizwan knows he got something on that. Finally the stand is broken.

    Fortune for England!

It's not a pleasant way to get out, strangled down the leg side, but Mohammad Rizwan will have to go. He chases this angling Chris Woakes delivery, gets a tickle on it and Jos Buttler pulls off a superb catch, diving to his left, to break a very fruitful partnership for Pakistan.

England are desperate for the new ball.

  4. Pak 213-5published at 75 overs

Dom Bess continues and he's swept powerfully by Azhar Ali, but just for one.

I'm not quite sure he's found his rhythm today. It's been easy for Pakistan to knock him about, picking up the singles here and there. That said, he keeps Mohammad Rizwan aware with a delivery that finds a bit of extra bounce and drops tantalisingly close to leg gully.

Six overs until the second new ball, so you'd expect England to hurry themselves along to that target...

Good toss to win this. If Pakistan had had first dibs, and played like this, anything could have happened.

Chris Etheridge: Great innings from Azhar Ali! It would have been easy for Pakistan to collapse in a heap after Crawley and Buttler's marathon partnership but he has looked very good.

That was a tremendous hundred. Azhar Ali is one of the real good guys of the game. He's very humble. He's under a lot of pressure back home but he's shown a huge amount of mental resilience.

    There it is!

A superb century for Azhar Ali, celebrated with a roar around the ground. There's coaches, subs and players dotted all over the place and they rise to give him a standing ovation. He's had a tough two weeks, having been under such a lot of pressure, and he has stood up and been counted today.
