This, at 106, is the highest partnership against England this summer.

Jofra has a debrief with Joe Root and almost profits as Mohammad Rizwan sends an outside edge through backward point for a couple.

That's an authentic uppercut, it looks like an edge but he played that deliberately.

  5. Pak 181-5published at 65.3 overs

Make that four more for Mohammad Rizwan!

Short from Jofra and Rizwan watches it all the way, leaning back and uppercutting an 88mph delivery with ease over the heads of those behind the stumps.

Rizwan is looking rock solid - all part of his game are working to perfection: head, feet, hands, bat.

  7. Pak 177-5published at 65 overs

Hands on hips for Stuart Broad as he wheels through a tidy over and watches the final ball get tickled for a single.

This is still a good surface for batting on.

I think Jimmy Anderson is coming back on the field now.

  9. Pak 176-5published at 64 overs

A little push outside off stump from Azhar Ali, with Jofra Archer finding a bit of extra bounce, before the Pakistan skipper leans back and uppercuts the final ball over the top of the slip cordon and away for four.

In fact, that final four brings up the 100 partnership. It's been a very good rescue job.

Lesley Keech: I think I'd vote for Rizwan as my Pakistan player of the series. He's been a superb keeper for them and looks useful with the bat. Abbas would be second - toiled so hard for them, didn't get the wickets he deserved.

It's around about now that England could do with Ben Stokes bowling an 11-over spell of bouncers from round the wicket.

  13. Pak 170-5published at 63 overs

    Azhar 84, Rizwan 32

A big shout for lbw, Stuart Broad striking Azhar Ali as he plays around his front pad, but the excellent Michael Gough says no.

It's hit Azhar on the back foot as he tried to move out of the way, which suggests it's tailing down the leg side, and England have wasted their reviews anyhow.

Rizwan has been such a positive for Pakistan in this series, he's grown in stature so much.

  15. Pak 169-5published at 62 overs

And then Mohammad Rizwan goes straight down the ground for four more! Lovely. Get that framed.

It's sub fielder James Bracey who does the chasing. Jimmy Anderson is off the field at the moment.

  16. Pak 165-5published at 61.2 overs

    Shot!

A bit short, a bit wide, and Mohammad Rizwan is on it like a flash, riding the bounce and cutting it for four.

And from the opposite end, it'll be Jofra Archer.

If England do enforce the follow-on, it could be a long few days in the field for them.

  19. Pak 161-5published at 61 overs

A firm push from Mohammad Rizwan gets Pakistan under way, and Azhar Ali follows suit with a slightly less controlled tickle off his front pad.
