Chris Mitchell: Adil Rashid is bowling a load of old dross here. As brilliant as England are with the bat in the white-ball game, their bowling and fielding still needs a lot of work.
Haider 45, Hafeez 29
Tom Banton would have been a good mate to play garden cricket with. He'd always find that ball you'd smacked over the fence.
We're back under way and Rashid nabs a dot ball.
Dawid Malan has clambered up the stand to try and retrieve the ball. It's not far from the tram tracks.

The worst bit of covid cricket is having to get the ball yourself.

That'll be a long chase for the fielder.
That's even bigger!
With no crowd to throw the ball back we're in for a wait here.

I've never bowled leg-spin but it looks pretty hard work...

That is a big, big shot from Mohammad Hafeez. Rashid gave it a lot of flight but it was in that hitting arc.
Fetch that! Hafeez climbs into a sweep and nails it a long way back into the stand. It's a short boundary but still a mighty hit.
I'd tend to agree with you, Rob.
Mohammad Hafeez survives a big lbw appeal to a Rashid googly. England decide against a review.

Rob Stow: I refuse to believe Lewis Gregory offers more to this T20 side than David Willey would.
Haider has impressed with shots like this...

Haider 44, Hafeez 16
Mohammad Hafeez thinks a couple of wides should have been called that haven't. He's then beaten by a slower ball from Gregory at the end of the over.

Oh.... that's criminal from Sam Billings! If I was the bowler I'd be absolutely fuming.
Sam Billings hands Haider Ali a life! The youngster goes for a big shot again but doesn't get all of it. Billings comes rushing in from deep mid-wicket before realising he has misjudged it horribly. He then has to rush back but can't get there, even with a dive.
It's not a drop, technically, but as good as.
Eoin Morgan is sticking with Gregory.
195 wasn't enough for Pakistan in the first match. This pitch looks just as good.

This pitch looks a belter, in my opinion. There's a little bit of turn for Rashid.
Gregory has to do some work on the boundary now with Mohammad Hafeez cutting down through point. It takes the third umpire a good few replays to rule the England all-rounder was touching the boundary rope when he flicked it back.
Probably the right decision.
11 from Rashid's first over. Good batting.
