I'm going to hand you over to Stephan Shemilt to take you through England's chase.

    It should be a cracker.

Sam Curran has taken his form from the IPL into this first T20. He has upstaged his brother and more senior bowler Tom.

England all-rounder Sam Curran, who took 3-28 off four overs, on Sky Sports: "It was good. I've been one of the lucky ones playing cricket, so I feel in really good rhythm and it came out well.

"We back ourselves to chase that total. The pitch started a bit tacky. Then when a bit of dew came in, it started coming on a bit better."

So, 180 to win. Can England do it?

South Africa are above par on the ground, but seven of the 10 day-night matches here have been won by the team batting second.

With the power in their line-up, England will be expecting to win this.

Both sides will be pleased. South Africa will be happy to have runs on the board, but England will back themselves to chase this down under lights with their formidable batting line-up.

England have just chipped away at the wickets. It has been a tale of two Currans - Tom has had a stinker, whereas Sam has his best figures in T20 cricket.

  8. wicket

    Linde b T Curran 12 (SA 179-6)

A good slower ball yorker deceives George Linde to end the innings.

England will need 180 to win the first T20.

  9. SA 179-5published at 19.5 overs

    Single. Good slower-ball bouncer.

  10. 6 runs

    SA 179-5published at 19.4 overs

Another full toss from Tom Curran and George Linde just flicks it for six - lovely shot.

  11. SA 173-5published at 19.3 overs

Now a wide down the legside. And Jos Buttler can't gather cleanly so South Africa pinch a single too.

  12. SA 171-5published at 19.3 overs

Slower ball and it's pulled for a couple by Pite van Biljon.

These are now Tom Curran's worse T20 international figures.

  13. SA 169-5published at 19.2 overs

A single flicked to deep mid-wicket.

  14. SA 168-5published at 19.1 overs

A full toss and wide from Tom Curran and George Linde slaps it over cover for four more.

    Dreadful bowling.

George Linde gets off the mark in the T20 international cricket with a single down to mid-on.

One over left. Can South Africa get up to 180?

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18.4 overs

Van der Dussen c Malan b Archer 37 (SA 161-5)

A full toss does the business.

As is often the case in these shorter formats the worse ball of the over gets the wicket. It's just completely clothed by Rassie van der Dussen and it's simple catch for Dawid Malan at deep square.

A useful knock from Van der Dussen, though.

  19. SA 161-4published at 18.2 overs

Eoin Morgan and Jofra Archer have a chat about where they want their fielders.

Morgan jogs away starting to shout orders and Archer starts moving people too. The England skipper just looks at Archer bemused.

The England quick has nailed three yorkers to start, though.

  20. Postpublished at 17:32 Greenwich Mean Time 27 November 2020

Jofra Archer is on to bowl the penultimate over.
