50 for Du Plessispublished at 19 overs

    SA 171-3

Full and wide from Sam Curran and Faf du Plessis - on the stretch - steers it past short third man and to the boundary.

    That's 17 off the over.

  2. SA 167-3published at 18.5 overs

And again! Straighter this time as Faf du Plessis stretches to drive over mid-off.

That's the 100 partnership off 59 balls. It has been superb.

  3. SA 163-3published at 18.4 overs

Plan 2C is rubbish as Faf du Plessis creams a cover drive to the fence.

    Superb shot.

  4. SA 159-3published at 18.3 overs

A slower ball deceives Faf du Plessis and it's a dot ball.

There's a member of the England changing room putting up clipboards with numbers/letters on the edge of the balcony. Tactic plans? We're currently on 2C.

  5. SA 159-3published at 18.2 overs

    Another offside wide.

  6. SA 158-3published at 18.2 overs

    Missed opportunity for England.

Rassie van der Dussen mistimes another drive, but Jofra Archer and Tom Curran can't decide who is going for the catch at deep point, with both ultimately being worried about colliding. In the end both leave it, meaning the ball just drops about five yards short of both.

  7. SA 157-3published at 18.1 overs

Rassie van der Dussen then plinks a drive over cover for a couple.

  8. SA 155-3published at 18 overs

He starts with a big off-stump wide as he throws one wide after seeing Rassie van der Dussen strolling down the track.

  11. SA 154-3published at 18 overs

That's an excellent comeback from Chris Jordan after being hit for six off his first delivery.

Aside from the beamer no-ball, there's just two singles and three perfectly executed yorkers.

The fact that this is one of the worst returns in Jofra Archer's career shows just how good he is. Going for 44 from four overs isn't terrible in a T20 game.

  14. SA 152-3published at 17.2 overs

Wow, that is a horrible delivery from Chris Jordan!

It's a beamer, and Faf du Plessis, doesn't pick it up properly and lets out a massive squirm just before it connects with the top of his bat, at rib height.

  15. 6 runs

    SA 151-3published at 17.1 overs

    Wow, wow, wow!

Chris Jordan is back on, and he misses his yorker by a tiny margin and Faf du Plessis plays a gorgeous drive over mid-off.

England could be chasing 200 at this rate.

22 runs in over - Archer's most expensive over in any T20 match (international and domestic). Previously he hadn't conceded more than 20.

Mark: Tom Curran definitely the weak link in the England bowling line-up. Tymal would be better bet for me.

  18. 50 runs

50 for Van der Dussenpublished at 17 overs

Brilliant running takes Rassie van der Dussen to a super half-century, off just 23 balls.

That's 22 off Jofra Archer's over, as he finishes with figures of 0-44. Not his day.

  19. 6 runs

    SA 143-3published at 16.5 overs

    Six more!

Rassie van der Dussen is destroying Jofra Archer. He gets down on one knee and whacks it over midwicket.

  20. SA 137-3published at 16.3 overs

    Wow! Superb shot.

It's in the block hole by Jofra Archer and Rassie van der Dussen just stands motionless and whacks it straight as a dye, down the ground.

South Africa are motoring towards a very competitive total here.
