Player of the match Chris Woakes, talking to TMS: "I felt good today, it is always nice to get a couple early. It sets up your game as a bowler. It was a professional performance from the unit, it wasn't the best wicket but it wasn't the worst so bowling them out for 180 was a good effort.
"I try to assess conditions early, and work out what it is best to do on the wicket, while taking wickets. I just try and make it as hard as possible for the batter on that wicket.
"Having fans back in is the most exciting thing, it just brings an atmosphere back to the game. The boys are really enjoying it, so being part of a winning England team is what it is all about."
England captain Eoin Morgan: "I'm delighted. The ways the guys started and persisted the whole time we were in the field left us in a really good position.
"Full credit to our bowling unit today, it really did fire.
"Joe Root is one of the best in the world in most situations. Today he showed his class. Even yesterday at training it was notable how easy he finds things.
"You can't rule him out of the T20 World Cup. He went a long way to getting us to the final in 2016."

The game just drifted off didn't it. Sri Lanka showed signs of some life now and again, but they are just not able to sustain it.
England aren't being pushed, they are just doing what they need to do, but their batting was a bit clumsy. If Sri Lanka had taken their catches it could have been closer than it should ever have been.

You can only compete against what is in front of you. I thought the bowling was fantastic, the fielding was exceptional and that was the case throughout the T20s too. The bowlers were led brilliantly by Chris Woakes.
They could have been a bit more ruthless with the bat, three of the first four wickets were batsman error and they could have been a bit more ruthless.
They've got over the line, and done exactly what they needed to.
That's four consecutive wins for England in these white-ball matches against Sri Lanka. The next ODI is on Thursday at The Oval.

It was a very professional job. There was a little bit of wobble when England lost those four wickets.
Moeen Ali and Joe Root did an extremely professional job, and took England to a point where it was inevitable that they were going to win the game.
Eng 189-5
Won with a four!
Sam Curran smears a full toss to mid-wicket.
England win by five wickets with more than 15 overs to spare. That's a hammering.

Joe Root is batting like a Yorkshireman here, "they've come here to watch me bat".
Root pinches a single to mid-on. Scores are level.
Curran leaves it to Root. I don't think we'll see the end of the next over.

Test Match Special statistician
Chris Woakes had five maidens in his 10 overs. It is only second time in 12 years of one-day cricket that someone has bowled five maidens.
It is the second time an England bowler has bowled five maidens since the 1992 World Cup.
Edged for four! Five to win. Root on 76.

Eoin Morgan has been talking about using this summer to look at players, and see if there is anyone they've missed ahead of the T20 World Cup. These ODIs are a good chance to look at players too, it would be foolish not too.
Chris Woakes, the next man in, sways side to side on the boundary There's a slip in place for Sam Curran, who picks up off his toes for a short single to mid-on. Ten to win.

Moeen Ali's 28 came from 57 balls, so at a strike-rate of less than 50.
In the last 12 years, only two England batters have played an innings of more than 50 balls, at a strike-rate of less than 50, and the identity of those players might be surprising because it is Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler.
Stokes against India at Trent Bridge in 2018, and Jos Buttler against Australia at the SCG in 2015.
Need 13 to win
Sam Curran is the new man.
His navy gloves aren't as natty as Moeen's sky blue. White boots, too.
