I think England have found their T20 finisher in Liam Livingstone. There's a spot open now Jos Buttler has moved to the top of the order and if Livingstone keeps playing like that, he can fill it.

When I first got to know Liam Livingstone at Lancashire I thought he was more of a red ball player. He's developed his white ball skills but then he started trying to hit every ball for six.

Now he's developed his game more and his shot selection has improved and you saw that in that century in the first T20.

  5. Pakistan win the toss and fieldpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 18 July 2021

Babar Azam calls correctly and opts to chase. The tourists are unchanged from the side that was impressive on Friday night.

Interestingly, Jonny Bairstow is down to bat at number six for England.

Adil Rashid and Chris Jordan return after resting on Friday, with Lewis Gregory and David Willey sitting out.

Rashid joins Matt Parkinson to make it two leg-spinners in the side.

  7. Jos Buttler captains Englandpublished at 14:03 British Summer Time 18 July 2021

Confirmed. Buttler, back from a calf injury, leads England in a T20 for the first time since 2018.

    Eoin Morgan is resting.

Pakistan do look unsure in one-day cricket but they have two T20 leagues at home and really know what to do in this format.

In Babar Azam, Pakistan have the best T20 batter in the world. He has the ability to find the boundary at exactly the right time.

It's great to see Pakistan play with flamboyancy and I think that's where they are at their best. They were a bit timid in the ODI series.

The toss is on the way. We're hearing reports it will be Jos Buttler, rather than Eoin Morgan, who will lead England as they attempt to level the series at 1-1.

The whole summer England have played great white-ball cricket until Pakistan were just too good in the first T20. It's also shown the real depth of the county game.

Headingley is a special place and a tremendous ground. It was a great atmosphere on Friday night with the crowd back and it'll be the same here.
