It has been a good display from England. You expected them to bounce back from losing that first game at Trent Bridge. They have played in a very professional manner.
Pak 155-9
That is a superb victory. And a superb final over from Tom Curran, who needed a strong showing today. He concedes just one run from the final over and ends with excellent figures of 1-22 from his four.
England beat Pakistan by 45 runs to level the three-match T20 series at 1-1.
The hosts came under real pressure today - they should've really posted a higher score but lost wickets at unfortunate times, with Pakistan bowling and fielding well.
Pakistan were flying in response at 71-1 off eight overs, but England's spin trio of Adil Rashid, Matt Parkinson and Moeen Ali grabbed the momentum back.
And in the end, it was something of a procession.
Tom Curran will bowl the final over.
Pakistan need 'just' the 47 from it.

I wonder if he just stepped on it while he was running in.

Where has that disc come from?
Rauf b Mahmood 0 (Pak 154-9)
First-ball duck. A peach of a yorker. And a flying disc.
Saqib Mahmood rearranges Haris Rauf's stumps as the new man in misses with an ugly heave.
Oddly, the disc that marks Mahmood's run up ends up near the pitch.
He managed to step on it starting his run up, carry it on his spikes and spoon it up as he delivered. Anyway, Pakistan are nine down.

Take that!
Shadab Khan won't go down without a fight as he dispatches a low full toss into the crowd.

It was almost too quick for Shaheen Shah. He was struggling to catch up with the pace.

Chris Jordan has got the safest pair of hands in world cricket.
Shaheen c Jordan b Mahmood 2 (Pak 147-8)
If Chris Jordan had dropped this, it might've been the most remarkable thing to happen at Headingley in the last few years. OK, not quite.
Cross seam from Saqib Mahmood and Shaheen Shah Afridi's ungainly swipe balloons up in the air for Jordan to comfortably pouch it at mid-on.
Does David Seaman have to hand over his nickname?

Re: 16.19. Sorry to disappoint you Steve in Norwich but you couldn't have been more wrong.
David Ashworth
Yeah, you don't send these upstairs...
Pakistan were 71-1 after eight overs.
They are now 145-7 after 18 overs.
A brilliant turnaround from England in those 10 overs, led by the spin of Adil Rashid, Matt Parkinson and Moeen Ali.
Babar Azam will be regretting his decision at the toss. His spinners could've been causing England these problems had they batted first.
Target 201
Tom Curran continues to dupe Shadab and Shaheen, the latter nutmegged by a ball that just misses leg stump.
He does connect last up - not cleanly, but enough to just evade Chris Jordan sprinting back from mid-off. Not even he could've pulled off the dive required to get there.
Superb from Curran - three runs, one wicket and plenty of variations. That's why England stick with him. Can he just find more consistency?

England have assessed this pitch nicely in the second half of the game - lots of spin, lots of cutters.

The momentum has drifted out of the game for Pakistan.
Imad c Roy b Curran 20 (Pak 142-7)
Eoin Morgan is the best white-ball captain England have ever had. But Jos Buttler is having quite the day in his place.
Every key decision he's made has come off - Tom Curran back in and a wicket straight away.
Imad Wasim chucks everything at it but Curran has deceived him with pace off the ball as it flies straight to Jason Roy at long-on.
Tom Curran, still with time to impress after a so-so first couple of overs, will bowl the 18th over.
