It's been a fairly cagey start. Both teams are feeling their way into the match. Pakistan will be fairly happy where they are, while England will want a wicket or two. Adil Rashid into the attack is a good option for Eoin Morgan to have now.

We saw at Trent Bridge these two taking their time to get in and then they started to accelerate. I think Saqib Mahmood's field is making this all a little bit predictable. You know he's going to bowl straight or short.

    What a connection!

First ball of Mahmood's over, Rizwan down low to sweep for a maximum.

    Should it have been taken?

Babar top edges. Jason Roy never really looks like catching it, holding his hands and wobbling his legs out like a man struggling under a massiv weight.

    Costly?

Babar Azam hasn't been at his fluent best so far, but from England's point of view he's still there.

Edged past a flying Jos Buttler! Four to Babar off Chris Jordan.

Equally daft, my wife inserts cocktail sticks into each end of a choc ice and eats it like a corn on the cob!

Dabbed to short third man. They think about a single, but ultimately turn it down. Breathless stuff.

We just saw Babar Azam play the very same shot and miss it. Mohammad Rizwan anticipates the length from David Willey and is smart to it. That's a really good shot.

    Sixer!

Too full from Willey, Rizwan launching it over long-on. Massive hit.

I want to believe that. A Magnum is essentially a classy choc ice. James Bond wouldn't have a choc ice, would he?

Did you know that Roger Moore was so fed up of his choc ice melting he came up with the idea of the Magnum and Walls took it up commercially?

Babar gets away with a leading edge off Willey that lands safely in the covers, then slashes to third man for a couple.

Saqib Mahmood has put a run of games together now. He's always struggled with little niggles but seems to have got some form and taken his chance. However, there ends the praise for Mahmood after two poor balls to end the over!
