This is good from England. Especially Rashid and Ali. Hopefully we can knock this off comfortably with the firepower we have.

Moeen Ali, who took 1-19 from four overs: "It's a great wicket to bowl spin on. This will be a good game. They have a good score but it just takes one or two of our guys to get going.

"I tried to bowl quite quick. There's enough there for the spinners and I tried to read the batters as best I could. I love bowling with Adil Rashid and he's deserved his four wickets."

Pakistan will be quite happy with that. The ball has turned. They will think they can defend it. On the other hand, England can chase any score on any surface.

  7. Pak 154-6published at 20.0 overs

Chris Jordan finishes a clever final over with another slower ball. Mohammed Rizwan is able to cloth it through mid-wicket and just make it back for a second.

  8. Pak 152-6published at 19.5 overs

Superb slower ball from Chris Jordan and Mohammed Rizwan's attempt to paddle it over his head ends in him in a heap on the crease.

  9. Pak 152-6published at 19.4 overs

Skillful stuff from Chris Jordan as he bowls another dot before Hasan Ali mistimes one and Pakistan scramble a single.

  10. Pak 151-6published at 19.2 overs

A precious dot ball first up from Chris Jordan. Hasan Ali sends the next ball, a yorker-length delivery, skyward and three England players are in pursuit but it drops safe.

Mohammed Rizwan is still there for Pakistan on 74*. Here's a six he whacked off Adil Rashid a little earlier.

That might look unlucky, but Mahmood has struggled to execute a skill. I'm not sure what he's trying to bowl there.

  14. Pak 148-6published at 18.5 overs

Eoin Morgan has a brief conflab with Saqib Mahmood and calms the nerves of the Lancashire man. Another flash of the blade from Hasan Ali and this time it takes the edge and goes over Jos Buttler's head for four. You cannot set a field for that.

That's a huge blow, to the biggest part of the ground. There are big areas square of the wicket and Pakistan have rarely knocked it into a gap for two - they are always looking for a big shot.

  16. Pak 141-6published at 18.2 overs

Hasan Ali doesn't make a mistake this time with a premeditated whack on to the leg side for a six which bounces into the stands packed with jubilant Pakistan fans. A wistful look from Saqib Mahmood.

  17. Pak 135-6published at 18.1 overs

Saqib Mahmood with the penultimate over for England. Hasan Ali with a huge heave to a short wide one but he fails to make contact. Mohammed Rizwan itching to get on strike at the other end.

Chris Jordan barely celebrated taking the bails off for Imad Wasim's dismissal, but there was no dive. A sloppy dismissal for Pakistan.
