Well done to India. They have got their plans right - they've kept the old ball, set their feel in-front on the leg side, for that exact shot. They have bowled a beautiful line, tailing the ball in, and it was chipped up too comfortably.

It feels inevitable now, with three hours of play left, and the new ball available if needed.

And on that note, it's tea.

India need just two wickets to win. England have got to block, block and block.

What a turnaround we've had in that session!

Not that they need it at all!

Excellent tactics from Virat Kohli, who had two catchers positioned close on the leg side and Chris Woakes obliges, clipping off his legs and straight into the hands of one of them.

Overton survives, but how long can England survive for? Remember, India still have the new ball available when they want it.

The ball went away onto the off-side, which may have deceived the umpire. It may have made him think it was straighter than it was.

Craig Overton is given out lbw on the field. England have all three reviews remaining, so unsurprisingly he makes the signal.

When we look back at this Test will we decide it was won on the third day, by that brilliantly disciplined batting display by India? It took them past England and into a position that allowed them to build on the fourth day.

The atmosphere has changed today - there is noticeably more India fans. That has added to the intensity, that the players will undoubtedly feel in the middle.

    I wouldn't, Ben.

Chris Woakes takes three twos from Shardul Thakur's over, although you feel the runs are definitely out of the equation for England now.

It would have been a comfortable catch for a fourth slip.

  17. dropped catch

Overton dropped on 1published at 83 overs

So close! The ball flies off the edge of Overton's bat, Rahane at third slip leaps and gets two hands to it but can't cling on.

Remarkable from Bumrah - the bounce he is getting from this slow pitch! That came off the shoulder of the bat.

Jasprit Bumrah is back, still without the new ball.

And to absolutely nobody's surprise, he starts with a yorker on Overton's toes that he digs out well.
