England lost four wickets in seven overs. There had been 17 wickets in the previous 267 overs, and a rate of one every 16 overs.

In terms of England collapses from two down to six down, for just six runs, it is the joint-second worst since 1902, when England crumbled at Bramall Lane.

Stephen Nunn: Do love a great English overreaction. Bumrah producing a phenomenal spell of Test match bowling. Sometimes you have to tip your hat to the opposition, no?

Umesh Yadav bowls the first over after the drinks break.

He doesn't quite have the fear factor of Bumrah, but England certainly can't afford to relax against him.

The last hour has been so good. India will be relieved to some extent. Virat has been good with his bowling changes.

And here's the fourth wicket that fell in that dramatic hour after lunch - that of Moeen Ali.

Joe Root and Chris Woakes have been digging in since then.

  10. drinks break

    Eng 150-6published at 73 overs

    Target 368

Mohammed Siraj replaces Bumrah, who might be a bit tired - unsurprisingly. The new ball is due in seven overs' time. Will India take it, given how much it's reverse swinging?

Bowler and fielders share a giggle as a fly makes its way into Siraj's mouth as he's about to deliver the ball. The players take a drink to allow him to wash it down.

Calamitous. The sad truth is that since Stokes/Root emerged, England have not produced another world-class batsman. And in that time Labuschagne, Pant, Babar etc etc. We are just so far behind globally.

Do you want to see three of England's wickets that have fallen after lunch? Probably not, but here they are.

Bairstow's in particular is an absolute gem.

Another maiden from Jadeja that passes in the blink of an eye.

Mark Burt: Think some of the reactions of some so-called fans are ridiculous. India are a top team, England are in transition. One win.

Lots of opinions on England's batting flying around.

But a fair amount of credit has to go to India, because this has been a phenomenal spell of bowling after lunch.

Bumrah nails another vicious yorker that Joe Root digs out.

Wayne: No doubting the talent in this England team, but time and time again they wilt under pressure. No excuse to collapse like this on this wicket.

Rafa: Other than Root, too many English batsmen trying to consolidate their place. It’s reflective of how they’ve approached this chase.

  17. Eng 149-6published at 70 overs

Virat Kohli moves about nine different fielders around, waving his arms around as if he's conducting traffic. Perhaps just playing some mind games with Chris Woakes.

A maiden over from Jadeja. He gets through his overs so quickly, which doesn't help Jasprit Bumrah bowling at the other end.
