We have been down on Sri Lanka, but England have deserved their lead. They've done it the right way.
Erm. You might want to scrap that inspection. It's mizzling again...
There will be an inspection at midday!

A country like Sri Lanka, if it needs more financial support we have to find it. I do want more competition. Not all teams have to be great all the time, you will have stand out teams, but I don't like what I am seeing. It is down to the game and the ICC to support these nations.

Hamish Arnold: Currently 168*, if Joe Root goes to: 177 - he'll have scored 8000 Test runs, 207 - he'll go past M Waugh on the all time Test run-scorers list, 210 - he'll go past G Sobers on the all-time Test run-scorers list.

Lawrence seemed to be able to play the game like he has for Essex for the past few years. The top five for England is almost an embarrassment of riches.
Whichever players are still in the England side come January, they will have played extremely well because they have faced some quality this year.
Honestly, Popmaster has been the highlight of my (numerous) lockdowns.

Enjoyed listening to all the chat on Dan Lawrence and then went through to the kitchen and Ken Bruce was playing 'Overnight Sensation' by the Raspberries.

The boundary boards are now being removed so more covers can go on the outfield. Which, er, doesn't seem promising.
