  2. Ind 52-1published at 14 overs

    Lead by 247

Back to the previous lbw decision, we still haven't seen whether it would have hit the stumps anyway. It was close.

    Joe Root is still annoyed.

    Pujara cuts for four.

  4. Postpublished at 10:43 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2021

Rohit is reverse sweeping. Has he got an under edge?

  5. India reviewpublished at 10:43 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2021

Rohit is given out lbw this time! But now it's his turn to review.

Joe Root is not happy. At all.

  7. Ind 47-1published at 13 overs

Sir Alastair is right. Rohit hasn't missed a ball by that far all match.

England knew he had been hit outside the line. It was obvious. They rightly believed he hadn't played a shot.

    Sir Alastair Cook
Former England captain on The Cricket Social

The bloke got 160 in the first innings and he's missed the ball by a foot. That's a terrible decision.

The third umpire should have done something about it.

  10. Not outpublished at 10:40 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2021

That's a remarkable decision from the third umpire. Rohit has made absolutely no attempt to play the ball but the umpire deems he has. As a result, Rohit has clearly been hit outside the line so it's not out.

Joe Root shakes his head. Not impressed.

That bat is being hidden. That is not playing a shot.

    This is close.

  13. Postpublished at 10:38 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2021

Rohit has hidden his bat behind the pad but he's surely not playing a shot.

  14. England reviewpublished at 10:37 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2021

England have called for a review. It's an lbw shout to Rohit. The bowler, Moeen, didn't even appeal. Ben Foakes was the only one interested.

    Sir Alastair Cook

I don't think I've played on a pitch with quite as inconsistent bounce as this. The challenge on this wicket is that, id the ball hits the patch, it's a lottery what it does.

  16. Ind 46-1published at 12 overs

Pujara is away with a three into off side. He looks like someone but I can't work out who it is. Sean Dyche would love this game.

  17. Postpublished at 10:32 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2021

Cheteshwar Pujara is the new batsman. He didn't field because of a blow to the finger in the first innings but is fit enough to bat it seems.

Gill was half-forward. The ball scurried on and just straightened a little.

Rohit Sharma - sensational batsman. Rubbish umpire.

It was plumb. It would have hit the middle of middle. A small positive for England at the end of the day.
