It looks very difficult for England from here but one or two things have gone quite well from this Test. Olly Stone looked good and Ben Foakes kept well too.

The crowd in Chennai is calm, but comes to life when a Moeen cut is stopped by the diving point fielder. Mo looks in good order. High elbow, straight bat. Siraj has bowled four consecutive maidens. We're just over 20 minutes from tea.

Moeen can play different roles - he can bat at the top of the order or he can bat where he is now. But there comes a point in a career where you want to know what your role is.

What a brilliant idea. Send pictures. In fact, I'd challenge anyone to recreate their own day at the Test. We'll do that tomorrow. My effort will be losing the charger for my laptop. Happens all the time.

Moeen gets away from his 16th delivery, climbing into a Kuldeep long hop and cutting for four.

We'd planned a surprise lockdown fun 'day at the cricket' for our daughters tomorrow. Made tickets and lanyards, bought them new shirts and were going to pack them up a breakfast picnic... now thinking we should've done it today!

Siraj is bowling with pace and extracting bounce. His hair is quiffed and his beard manicured. Foakes, unflappable, goes back and defends with a straight bat. On Valentine's Day, I'm starting to think that my admiration for Ben Foakes may be turning into something more serious.

Tom Cray: The first case for Tuff Justice would surely be how burglar Dom Bess had managed to steal so many wickets in that first Test.

Squire: The nemesis could be Blofeld. This needs to happen!!!

All the talk of Tuff Justice has got me thinking of the new series of Line of Duty. That can't be far away, can it? Until then, I'm on Married at First Sight Australia. Sensational telly.

Moeen moves to 13 balls on nought.

Siraj didn't just get a wicket with his first ball of the match, but his first delivery in Test cricket in India. He's round the wicket to Moeen, whose bat is flapping like washing on a line. He's spent 11 balls and counting on nought.

Kuldeep is all arms and legs as he creeps in to Foakes, who crabs around the crease. The Pope wicket is all the more galling because batting does seem much less dangerous than before lunch. England may even avoid the follow-on.

    Carnage. Absolute carnage.

India have come to the party in devastating fashion in this series.

They added 29 runs in the morning with England quickly wrapping up the lower order and Rishabh Pant left stranded.

Since then, Ravichandran Ashwin and co have made India's 329 all out look like 729, causing havoc on this spinning pitch.

Rory Burns was out to the third ball of England's reply. Joe Root was out for six top-edging a sweep - a rare failure for him.

Ollie Pope has just fallen strangled down the leg side to seamer Mohammed Siraj's first ball of the day. He had put on a good partnership with Ben Foakes for almost 15 overs.

Moeen Ali is the new man. He must delighted this is the pitch he's batting on in his first Test in 18 months.

    Would you believe it?

Not only is Mohammed Siraj bowling, but he's got a wicket with his first ball.

It's a sickener for Ollie Pope. Nothing more than a loosener, tickled down the leg side, where Rishabh Pant channels his inner Ben Foakes to take a wonderful diving catch.

    Hammer blow for England.

Clearly India have panicked after the first Test; they have picked two spinners and the pitch has exploded. It's not a good Test match wicket.
