It's Billings' left shoulder. He has gone over on it very awkwardly.

The England physio is now sticking his thumbs in there. I just hope it's not dislocated.

Oh dear. This does not look good. Sam Billings is down in pain, holding his shoulder, after a dive on the boundary edge.

Iyer gets off the mark with a single to third man before Dhawan smokes a pull to the boundary. He has 87.

It's lovely to see Moeen smiling in an England shirt.

Shreyas Iyer, Lancashire's new signing, is India's number four today.

    Kohli c Moeen b Wood 56 (Ind 169-2)

Gone! Kohli won't be converting his fifty into a hundred today.

Mark Wood has done just what his skipper needed. Kohli whips him off the stumps high into the leg side but somehow manages to pick out Moeen Ali - the one fielder in the deep. Moeen's nerves may have been jangling after the earlier drop but he holds on.

No surprise to see Eoin Morgan go to Mark Wood now. Needs a bit of magic so goes to his quickest bowler.

  7. Ind 169-1published at 32 overs

    Dhawan 83, Kohli 56

We saw a worrying graphic a couple of moments ago on the TV. Virat Kohli has the second best conversion rate of any batsman ever in men's international 50-over cricket in terms of getting from 50 to 100.

Tom Curran returns but he can't find the breakthrough.

Thanks Mike. I wasn't gone long but all of a sudden Kohli has fifty and this partnership is worth 100.

India will be eyeing a big, big score from here.

Pace back for England as Mark Wood replaces Moeen for his second spell of the match. Can he break this partnership?

Just the single off the first four balls, but Dhawan just leans on the next one for another four through the covers. Time for drinks, and I'll hand you back to Matt...

Virat Kohli has pretty much perfected 50-over cricket.

Rashid looks a little tighter this over, but Dhawan has his eye in and one slip-up is enough - sweeping for four.

    That's a run-a-ball 50 for Kohli!

Not the most dramatic way to bring it up - a defensive shot dribbles into the covers. But the India captain is building a platform here...

  15. Ind 150-1published at 29 overs

India really beginning to motor now. Stokes lets a Kohli drive through his hands for four at mid-off, before Dhawan makes room and punches a six and tickles a fine four for consecutive boundaries.

    15 from it...

  16. Ind 135-1published at 28 overs

Just three further singles off the rest of the over. How much will England come to regret that drop?

Stating the obvious but that’s a huge drop by England... the larger this partnership grows, the more aggressive the Indian batsmen to come will be.

Dhawan dropped on 60published at 27.3 overs

    Ooof, that's a bad drop.

Another short ball from Rashid is pounced upon by Dhawan, who doesn't wholly get hold of it and chips what seems like a relatively easy catch for Moeen running round in the deep.

But it's shelled by the all-rounder. Scowls from Rashid...

  19. Ind 130-1published at 27 overs

Tight second over for Moeen, five singles from it. India upping the tempo but can't get him away for anything substantial.

One tiny slice is enough for me.
