Genuine question: do fans/spectators care about over-rates or is it just pundits/ex-players/journalists whose days are made longer?

I watched the first hour, went to college for 3 hours and now will be home in time for the start of the second innings..... keep pushing the over rates up!

Here's a reminder of the latest from the England camp on the injuries to Eoin Morgan and Sam Billings. Both left the field during that innings.

On Morgan: "Eoin has split the webbing between his right thumb and index finger. He has had four stitches inserted by the England team doctor. He expects to be able to bat."

On Billings: “Sam Billings has sprained his collar bone joint. It’s not related to the previous shoulder injury he suffered in 2019. It’s sore, he’s currently receiving treatment and we are hopeful he will be able to bat later.”

I think "expert" is stretching it, Judith.

For what it's worth, I'm saying India have just enough. England to get close but struggle under the pressure of the chase.

Sam Rogers: India would have about 400 if they’d not stuttered overs 28-40. Morgan and Billings carrying knocks is a worry. Massive pressure on the top order.

It could have been worse for England but it should really have been better.

India were 169-1 after 32 overs but 205-5 in the 41st.

Game on. It was a brilliant debut by Krunal Pandya and a welcome return to form by KL Rahul. There was some good England bowling in the early and middle parts of the innings, Ben Stokes in particular.

Krunal and Hardik are now embraced in a hug on the outfield. Krunal looks to be sobbing. Really emotional.

    He batted so well.

Hugely emotional scenes in Pune as Krunal Pandya steps up for a TV interview.

India's debutant is in tears. "It was for my Dad," is all he can say before the interview is cut short.

Hardik and Krunal lost their father in January.

KL Rahul and Krunal Pandya added 112 in the last 9.3 overs.

    A four to finish.

Rahul scoops the ball between Buttler and short fine leg.

India may well be favourites after that big finish. England need 318 to win.

Wood has come back well after that first-ball four.

    One ball remains...

He's just got back. Good fielding.

Krunal may have been run out. Has the dive saved him? He doesn't look confident.

  17. Ind 310-5published at 49.3 overs

Fast and into the pads from Wood. Just a leg-bye.

  18. Ind 309-5published at 49.2 overs

    Better. Wood finds his yorker.

  19. Ind 308-5published at 49.1 overs

England have lost the plot. One full, one short, one wide, one on the legs.

Pandya whacks Wood away for four to begin the final over.

  20. 6 runs

    Ind 304-5published at 49 overs

    Shot! Really good shot.

Tom Curran is a smidge away from a perfect yorker but Rahul digs it out and the ball flies all the way for six over long-on.

This has been some charge from India at the end.
