    Worcestershire 152-6 v Notts Outlaws 152-8

Today's game was the 31st tie in English T20 cricket.

Notts Outlaws were involved in the previous tie last summer, when they fell short when trying to score 140 for victory against Leicestershire.

It is the first tie involving Worcestershire Rapids.

    Kent 176-6 v Hampshire

A terrific final over from Chris Wood - which saw Jordan Cox and Ollie Robinson both dismissed - means Kent end on 176-6.

A bit like Somerset, after a really promising start from the openers they'll definitely feel like it could've been more but it's a competitive total nonetheless.

Ben Cox runs out Peter TregoImage source, PA Media

Peter Trego doesn't time the ball but has to come back for a second to try and win the game for Notts Outlaws.

It's an uneven contest as Ed Barnard's throw comes in to Ben Cox, Trego is run out for 35 and the match ends in a tie.

Who could have predicted that after Notts were 76-0 in the sixth over? The 2020 T20 Blast champions will know this game was theirs for the taking, but you can only pay tribute to Worcestershire's fighting spirit.

And what a comeback by Josh Tongue, who conceded 25 from his first over, but only four from his next two including the last of the game.

    Mullaney cTongue b Morris 7 (Notts 147-6)

A near thing as Peter Trego has to dive to make his ground at the bowler's end as Ed Barnard's throw arrows in. Trego and Mullaney.

There is no escape for Mullaney though as he slices the ball into the air and Josh Tongue hangs on to an excellent catch.

Essex have begun their chase of 186 to win at Taunton, but Somerset have made an early breakthrough.

Jack Brooks is the man with it, removing opener Tom Westley for 13.

    Kent 147-4 v Hampshire

There's three overs to go at Canterbury, where Mason Crane has done a terrific job with the ball to limit Kent. The England spinner has taken 3-23 from his four overs.

Ollie Robinson is unbeaten on 33, while Jordan Cox is 17 not out.

    Notts 143-5 (Trego 31, Mullaney 4) - target 153

Josh Tongue will be relieved not to see Joe Clarke or Alex Hales at the other end, and that is a decent over for his side, costing only three runs. A lbw shout against Peter Trego is turned down and Notts Outlaws need 10 from 12 balls.

    Notts 140-5 (Trego 30, Mullaney 2) - target 153

Ben Dwarshuis finds the ends of Peter Trego's bat but the ball falls just short of keeper Ben Cox and ricochets off his gloves, enabling Notts to take two. The next one is short and Trego pulls it away for four. Dwarshuis has 0-38 from his three overs so far.

  13. Postpublished at 16 overs

    Notts 132-5 (Trego 23, Mullaney 1)

Notts skipper Steven Mullaney is the new batsman and he and Peter Trego see out the over with ones and twos. Another 21 needed from four overs.

Patel run out 11 (Notts 128-5)

Samit Patel sees a lofted drive slip through the fingers of the cover fielder but pays the price of attempting a second run as Ben Cox pivots superbly to break the stumps from Charlie Morris' throw with the Notts veteran short of his crease.

  15. Postpublished at 15 overs

    Notts 126-4 (Trego 19, Patel 11) - target 153

Unlike Brett D'Oliveira, it's not a great start by Ed Barnard, who strays down leg-side at the start of his first over and Peter Trego finds the boundary.

Samit Patel appears content to accumulate and let his partner play a few shots, which Trego does with a handsome cover drive, but is retsritced to two by the boundary rider.

Five overs to go - 27 runs needed.

    Somerset 185-7 v Essex

Huge credit must go to Ben Green, whose unbeaten 43 - including a third six in that final over - has dragged Somerset to a competitive 185-7.

Sam Cook was the pick of the Essex bowlers with 3-14 off three overs, while Jack Plom recovered well from his first over going for 33 to finish with 2-51.

  17. Postpublished at 14 overs

    Notts 117-4 (Trego 11, Patel 10)

Brett D'Oliveira into the attack now with his skidding leg-breaks and it's a great start by him for Worcestershire, and he concedes just two singles. The Rapids are still in this.

  18. Postpublished at 13 overs

    Notts 115-4 (Patel 9, Trego 10) - target 153

If Notts were feeling any pressure, Peter Trego lifts it by square cutting Ish Sodhi for a welcome boundary. The New Zealander departs for fielding duty with 1-27 in his first bowl for the Rapids. Just 38 from 42 balls needed by Notts Outlaws now.

  19. Postpublished at 12 overs

    Notts 107-4 (Patel 7, Trego 4)

Moeen Ali misses off stump by millimetres as Peter Trego cuts and fails to make contact. Just three from that one and the Worcestershire skipper finishes with 2-15 from his four overs.

    Somerset 174-6 v Essex

You know I mentioned the importance of Lewis Gregory when he was on his run-a-ball 24 earlier? Yeah, he got out next delivery.

But the good news for Somerset is that Ben Green has clubbed a couple of sixes to move to 34 off 26, while the big-hitting Marchant de Lange is with him on 18 off six.

    Into the final over.
