  1. Postpublished at 20 overs

    Worcs 152-6 v Notts Outlaws

Luke Fletcher takes his second wicket with the final delivery of the innings as Ed Barnard (10) top edges and Matt Carter takes the catch just inches inside the boundary. Jake Libby remains unbeaten on 52 from 43 balls, and his anchor innings has been vital in this Rapids total. Will it be enough?

  2. 6 runs

    Postpublished at 19.5 overs

    Worcs 152-5 (Libby 52, Barnard 10)

That's the way to get off the mark as Ed Barnard smashes Luke Fletcher away for six and takes the total to 150 with a switch-hit four.

  3. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.2 overs

    Whiteley c Paterson b Fletcher 42 (Worcs 141-5)

Ross Whiteley swishes fine for four at the start of the final over of the Worcestershire innings. The next ball is dug in and Whiteley tries an uppercut but is caught by Dane Paterson, ending a stand of 78 with Jake Libby. Ed Barnard is the next man in.

  4. 50 runs

for Jake Libbypublished at 19 overs

    Worcs 137-4 (Libby 51, Whiteley 38)

Ross Whiteley swings Dane Paterson away and is relieved to see it fall just short of Samit Patel in the deep as he comes back for two. A full toss follows and this one is dismissed beyond the rope for six.

There's another maximum to finish the over as Libby hits straight down the ground to reach his fourth T20 50 from 42 balls.

  5. Postpublished at 18 overs

    Worcs 122-4 (Libby 47, Whiteley 27)

A superb yorker by Luke Fletcher begins the latest over and it's all Ross Whiteley can do to keep it out. The next ball, though, is drilled back past the stumps at the bowler's end for four.

Only four more from the rest of the over, though, and Notts will be quite content with the present position.

We're also now under way in the match at Taunton, where Essex won the toss and have elected to field first.

These two teams have been big rivals in red-ball cricket during the past couple of years, but who will come out on top tonight?

  7. Postpublished at 17 overs

    Worcs 114-4 (Libby 47, Whiteley 21)

Great stuff by Dane Paterson who sends down four successive dot balls.

The fourth, though, sees the South African somehow miss the stumps from point blank range after Ross Whiteley comes down the pitch and struggles to regain his ground. Just three for it - not good enough for Worcestershire.

  8. 6 runs

    Postpublished at 16 overs

    Worcs 111-4 (Libby 46, Whiteley 20)

Steven Mullaney trundles up to complete his four-over spell and Ross Whiteley finally gets his timing right as he flips the Notts skipper away behind square for the game's first maximum. Mullaney finishes with 1-34.

  9. Postpublished at 15 overs

    Worcs 100-4 (Libby 44, Whiteley 11)

Luke Fletcher returns for what will be his second over.

Jake Libby is moving around in the crease to try and throw the big seamer off his line, but it brings him limited success in terms of runs.

There are three wides as Fletcher tries to take all the pace off the ball, and the total reaches 100 as Ross Whiteley picks up one - but is denied four runs by Matt Carter's fine stop.

  10. Postpublished at 14 overs

    Worcs 90-4 (Libby 40, Whiteley 8)

Jake Libby doesn't look like a batsman with the big shots to suddenly transform an innings. But he's doing a valuable job for Worcestershire here as they try to post a defendable total. Six to go - can they at least get this up to 150?

  11. Postpublished at 13 overs

    Worcs 85-4 (Libby 38, Whiteley 6)

A poor ball by Matt Carter is pulled away by Jake Libby and a fielding error just inside the rope gives him four runs.

That apart, it's canny stuff from the off-spinner who offers Ross Whiteley nothing to try and throw the bat at.

  12. Postpublished at 12 overs

    Worcs 77-4 (Libby 32, Whiteley 4)

No boundaries since the fourth over but Jake Libby finally produces one as he slices Steven Mullaney down to third man.

Libby - a former Notts player - goes aerial later in the over and ball falls into a sizeable gap to enable the batsmen to come back for two.

  13. Postpublished at 11 overs

    Worcs 67-4 (Libby 24, Whiteley 2)

Ross Whiteley has a T20 strike rate above 140 and Worcestershire need something special from the big left-hander now.

It's another good over from Calvin Harrison, though, and he has 0-16 from his three so far.

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 9.5 overs

    Cox c and b Mullaney 14 (Worcs 63-4)

Steven Mullaney doesn't repeat his mistake of the previous over as Ben Cox departs. This was a much easier return catch - at chest height - and Worcestershire are in some difficulty as the dangerous Ross Whiteley comes out to bat.

  15. Postpublished at 9 overs

    Worcs 57-3 (Libby 19, Cox 11)

Worcestershire need to start stepping on the gas.

Ben Cox tries a slog sweep but is kept to a single by the fielder at backward square and that is another handy over for Notts by Calvin Harrison.

  16. dropped catch

    Postpublished at 8 overs

    Worcs 51-3 (Libby 16, Cox 8)

Another bowling change as Notts skipper Steven Mullaney decides to turn his arm over.

The pace is very much what used to be called 'military medium' and he repeats Samit Patel's earlier error by failing to take a caught and bowled chance, this time offered by Jake Libby, who then carves to backward point to take the total up to 50.

  17. Postpublished at 7 overs

    Worcs 44-3 (Libby 11, Cox 6)

Big moment for leg-spinner Calvin Harrison as he is called up for his first ball in the T20 Blast. His opening delivery is dragged down short, but Ben Cox can do no more than pick up one.

Just six from it and Harrison, a 23-year-old born in South Africa, will be content with that.

  18. Postpublished at 6 overs

    Worcs 38-3 (Libby 7, Cox 4)

Samit Patel again and Worcestershire can do no better than singles. Even the gift of a full toss is squandered by Jake Libby, who is unable to beat the fielder at cover.

  19. Postpublished at 5 overs

    Worcs 33-3 (Libby 5, Cox 2)

After losing three early wickets, Worcestershire unsurprisingly avoid risks in Matt Carter's latest over and settle for keeping the scoreboard ticking over. Jake Libby pieces the off-side field twice, but neither stroke has the legs to reach the rope and he has to settle for a pair of twos.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 4 overs

Wessels run out 14 (Worcs 26-3)

Here comes Dane Paterson, Notts' quickest bowler, and Riki Wessels greets him with a beautiful straight drive for four.

Another boundary follows as Wessels lifts an angled delivery over mid-wicket - but the last ball of the over brings another wicket as Wessels goes for a quick single but is beaten by Steven Mullaney's direct hit. Great work by the Notts Outlaws skipper.
