There hasn't been as much cricket played this evening as we would have liked, but Notts Outlaws and Glamorgan won't be complaining after victories in the two completed games.

Samit Patel hit an unbeaten 64 and took two wickets as they defeated neighbours Derbyshire Falcons by two runs in a thrilling 15-overs contest.

Glamorgan, meanwhile, moved up a place to fifth in South group following their comfortable 21-run win over Middlesex.

Du Plooy scored 10 off the last two balls and finished on 58 from 35 balls in a fine innings but it wasn't quite enough for Derbyshire as they fall to a narrow defeat.

Samit Patel's contribution can't be overlooked as he followed-up his unbeaten 64 with two wickets and a catch to steer his team to victory.

Leus du Plooy's innings has been more a slow-burner but he's the man who needs to stay in and score runs here for Derbyshire.

Two overs left and the Falcons need 29.

Leus du Plooy releases the pressure a little with the first boundary in several overs and follows it up with a six!

He is now on 40 and is being supported by Brooke Guest who is on a run-a-ball four.

A better over for Derbyshire that one but it's still anyone's game as we approach the final stages.

Notts have really wrestled back the momentum of this game with those wickets.

Derbyshire looked to be racing towards the total but they are now behind where Notts were at the same stage.
