WICKET Cullen c Smith b van der Gugten 4published at 19:52 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150-9 v Middlesex 124-8 (19.1 overs)

All over bar the shouting now at Sophia Gardens, barring a minor miracle from Middlesex's remaining batsmen.

Blake Cullen becomes Timm van der Gugten's third victim as he picks out the fielder at long-off at the start of the final over of the game.

  2. Postpublished at 19:51 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

Notts Outlaws 60-4 v Derbyshire Falcons (8 overs)

Ben Duckett appears to be the key to a successful total for Notts as they move over 60 runs.

But the runs aren't flowing too rapidly at present in this match reduced to 15 overs a side, with just three runs coming from Matthew Critchley's first over.

  3. wicket

WICKET Green c Labuschagne b Douthwaite 18published at 19:51 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150-9 v Middlesex 124-7 (19 overs)

A dot ball by Dan Douthwaite isn't the way Middlesex would have wanted to start the penultimate over.

Only three runs are added from the next three deliveries and Chris Green finally succumbs to the pressure as he is caught at long-on.

Blake Cullen ends the over with a single, but Middlesex need 28 from six balls to win, or 27 for a tie. It is the tallest of tall orders.

  4. Postpublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150-9 v Middlesex 119-6 (18 overs)

Great stuff by Ruaidhri Smith. Just four singles from the over as he finished with figures of 1-23. Middlesex need 31 from 12 balls - and you don't have to be great at arithmetic to work out that's 15.5 runs per over.

  5. Postpublished at 19:43 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150-9 v Middlesex 116-6 (17 overs)

Chris Green ends Dan Douthwaite's over with a single. There are three more to come and Middlesex need 35 runs to win. They need some fours and sixes now.

  6. wicket

WICKET Moores c Guest b Scrimshaw 4published at 19:42 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Nottinghamshire 45-4 v Derbyshire (5.3 overs)

Derbyshire have brought on the wonderfully named George Scrimshaw to combine with the dangerous Logan van Beek - and it produces immediate results!

The ex-Worcestershire man has Tom Moores caught behind by Brooke Guest.

  7. wicket

WICKET Hollman c Ingram b Douthwaite 12published at 19:39 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150-9 v Middlesex 112-6 (16.4 overs)

Is the Middlesex run-chase running out of steam?

Luke Hollman departs for 12, slicing a catch to backward point off Dabn Douthwaite, who deserved that wicket for some fine bowling.

  9. Postpublished at 19:36 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150-9 v Middlesex 108-5 (16 overs)

Another good over for Glamorgan until Prem Sisodiya's final delivery is crunched over cover by Chris Green for four. The slow left-armer has 1-36 from his four.

  10. Postpublished at 19:35 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

Notts Outlaws 35-3 v Derbyshire Falcons (4 overs)

A better over for Notts there with Ben Duckett providing some much-needed boundaries to get the innings back on track.

He has moved on to 15 with Tom Moores at the other end on three.

  11. Postpublished at 19:33 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150-9 v Middlesex 100-5 (15 overs)

Do Middlesex have enough depth in their batting order to see them home from this position? Luke Hollman and Chris Green are together now and settle for rotating the strike with six singles off David Lloyd.

The total reaches 100 but the required rate is now over 10 an over.

  12. wicket

WICKET Budinger c Guest b van Beek 8published at 19:28 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

Notts Outlaws 19-3 v Derbyshire Falcons (2.4 overs)

Logan van Beek certainly has Notts' number at present and it is wicket number three for the bowler who has blown the Outlaws' top order apart.

Sol Budinger, who is making his full debut today, hit a boundary with his first ball but it all got a bit dicey after that and he departs after edging behind to Brooke Guest.

  13. wicket

WICKET Morgan b Smith 33published at 19:28 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150-9 v Middlesex 94-5 (13.5 overs)

Ruaidhri Smith digs in a short one at Eoin Morgan, who swivels and pulls it powerfully away for six. Three balls later and the pace bowler takes revenge as England's T20 captain chops the ball into his stumps - another major setback to Middlesex's chances.

Morgan made his 33 at a run-per-ball, with two sixes and two fours.

  15. Postpublished at 19:25 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150-9 v Middlesex 85-4 (13 overs)

Luke Hollman makes a positive start with a cross-batted swipe through mid-on for four. Middlesex now need 66 off 42 balls - a rate of 9.42 per over.

  16. wicket

WICKET Clarke c Godleman b van Beek 3published at 19:23 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

Notts Outlaws 9-2 v Derbyshire Falcons (1 over)

That's how you bowl the first over Logan van Beek!

He's taken out both Notts openers in the first over of the game - a blistering start from the Falcons bowler.

Joe Clarke only did marginally better than Alex Hales, scoring three from as many balls.

  17. wicket

WICKET Simpson lbw Lloyd 0published at 19:22 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150-9 v Middlesex 80-4 (12.2 overs)

Two in successive overs for Glamorgan as skipper David Lloyd traps John Simpson in front, playing back and across the line to one which may have kept slightly low. Middlesex need another 71 as Luke Hollman comes to the crease to join Eoin Morgan.

  18. wicket

WICKET Hales lbw van Beek 0published at 19:19 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

Notts Outlaws 2-1 v Derbyshire Falcons (0.2 overs)

    Big early wicket for Derbyshire!

Alex Hales has been pinned lbw by Logan van Beek with the second ball of the innings

They'll be delighted with that one at Trent Bridge!

  19. wicket

WICKET Stirling c Ingram b van der Gugten 46published at 19:19 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 150-9 v Middlesex 78-3 (11.4 overs)

Timm van der Gugten goes wide on the crease to change the angle of delivery and Paul Stirling pays the price for checking his lofted off-drive as he is caught by Colin Ingram. Van der Gugten has 2-11 from his three overs so far, which is superb bowling.

  20. Worcs v Northants abandonedpublished at 19:17 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

Groundstaff at New RoadImage source, Rex Features

I think it's fair to say tonight's schedule has now been decimated by the weather.

Worcestershire v Northants becomes the fifth of eight games to be abandoned without a ball being bowled.

The reason at New Road is bad light combined with a wet outfield.

The umpires seemed very willing to give the game every chance, with four pitch inspections, but the conditions have proved too much to overcome tonight.
