There's been a lot of talk about how 'Sweet Caroline' by Neil Diamond - a song which has become somewhat of a sporting anthem in this country - shouldn't be played at The Hundred as it encourages boozy behaviour. Unless my ears deceive me, I just heard it being played out, but not from the DJ booth. Has someone snuck in a boombox?
World number one T20 bowler Sophie Eccleston on second, no surprise there.
And what an superb start, again no surprise.
Just the one run from five balls. Spirit being kept very quiet early on.
Need 123 runs
England skipper Heather Knight arrives at the crease third ball - big innings required.
Kate Cross errs with a no-ball but little damage done as the visitors can only pick up five runs off her first five balls.

Tammy Beaumont walked down the pitch at her England team-mate there.

Not well at all, Michael.
A peach of a delivery from captain Kate Cross second up, right on that challenging line just outside off stump.
Tammy Beaumont makes a pre-meditated advance and sticks with the cut shot, but it's far too close to do that and instead she nicks it behind to keeper Ellie Threlkeld.
Big start for the Originals.

I wonder how opening the batting will go for Tammy Beaumont after she kept wicket?
Target 128
Cheers Ffion.
Biggest chase at Old Trafford in the women's Hundred required.
Naomi Dattani to face the first ball from Kate Cross...
And she taps a single to get off the mark.
The Manchester Originals fielders are making their way out onto the field, and to here to take you through this second innings of the game is Jack Skelton.
There have been some stunning catches in this competition so far and this is definitely up there with the best of the lot. An absolute worldie from London Spirit's Danielle Gibson.
I'm personally gutted we didn't get to see Alice Monaghan bowl. She's become my new favourite player since giving us this iconic moment last week.
She missed her graduation from Loughborough University and instead held her own little ceremony on the balcony of Lord's.

That's a very competitive score - the biggest one so far in the women's Hundred at Old Trafford. The Originals will be confident of defending this.
Sophie Ecclestone's 32 has really boosted the Originals there and I think they'll be happy with that score.
But the Spirit are without their strike bowler, Freya Davies, so it's not a bad effort from them either.
Tough one to call, this.

That was very Jos Buttler-esque in the World Cup final with that dive from Tammy Beaumont.
Threlkeld run out Gibson 11 (Originals 127-5)
They had to go for two, and Threlkeld is run out from the last ball. It's a wild throw from Gibson and Tammy Beaumont has to dive full stretch to take out the stumps.

This is a tremendous finish for the Originals and it's all down to Ecclestone. That was an excellent strike - she picked the slower ball early and went with it.
And she gets one! It's not a great ball from Sophie Munro, and Ecclestone won't miss that. A big six pulled over the leg side.
Threlkeld goes for a ramp shot but doesn't time it well so they only manage a single.
Ecclestone will want a few more boundaries here, you reckon.
