Eng 85-4published at 12.2 overs
Maia Bouchier looks good here.
She goes deep in her crease, and cuts away to the fence for her second boundary.
Understandably she started slowly, and looked a bit scratchy, but she looks much better now.

That boundary will give Maia a lot of confidence.
She's been a bit scratchy at the start of her innings before that shot.
Chaos.
Maia Bouchier crunches a sweep shot away, but Thamsyn Newton does brilliantly to get across, gather and release quickly.
Bouchier is keen to get back for a second, ending up halfway down the track, but Danni Wyatt isn't having it. Thankfully for Bouchier the front is to Wyatt's end - in fact it hits Wyatt's bat - and it is a missed opportunity for the White Ferns.

What a good piece of timing that is from Maia Bouchier.
Playing it nicely into the legside for four.
Lovely. Maia Bouchier picks up her first boundary in international cricket a beautifully timed flick to the square leg boundary.
She stayed deep in her crease, and just perfectly dissected the two boundary riders.

I think you'll see a really mature Danni Wyatt here.
She'll realise the situation with the wickets that have been lost and the need for her to bat as deep as possible in this innings.
Wyatt 25, Bouchier 3
Lovely from Danni Wyatt. She's used to be the aggressor at the top of the order, but she hasn't seen much of the strike so far, and she's now having to play a different type of innings.
She latches onto a length delivery from Hayley Jensen and plants it over mid-off for her third boundary.
That makes it eight off the over, and that's a good one for England.
Here's how New Zealand skipper Sophie Devine removed Nat Sciver and Amy Jones in successive balls.
Two big wickets for the White Ferns.

If Maia Bouchier plays her natural game here, I think we'll be in for a treat.
In comes the debutant Maia Bouchier. She's batting alongside her good mate Danni Wyatt, though. She presented Bouchier with her cap earlier.
I love this from New Zealand captain Sophie Devine. She's got a short mid-wicket and a short cover in. There are no easy singles on offer for Bouchier. Keep the pressure on.
After three dots, Leigh Kasperek drops a bit short and Bouchier mullers it into deep mid-wicket for a single. She's up and running in international cricket.

This partnership was just building nicely.
They were building some momentum and getting England up to a good total.
It's a bit of a soft one for Sophia Dunkley, maybe she was done a bit in the flight.
Dunkley c & b Kasperek 21 (Eng 61-4)
Sophia Dunkley can't believe it.
Dunkley looks to work the ball down to mid-on, looking for just a single, but she can't quite get underneath it properly and Leigh Kasperek moves smartly to her right-hand side to take a smart catch.
England are in a bit of trouble here.
Don't forget the likes of Eve Jones, Alice Capsey, Lauren Bell - and others - who haven't featured in an England squad yet.
Heather Knight and Lisa Keightley have a lot of options. The Hundred has helped show that.

Georgie Heath: Imagine having such a strong squad that you can REST Katherine Brunt when Heather Knight and Anya Shrubsole are already on the sidelines. The future is so bright for this England side.
Excellent comeback from Hayley Jensen, conceding just a single from the final five balls of the over.
Her line was much tighter to the stumps, and she twice beat Sophia Dunkley's outside edge, as the England batter looked to just manoeuvre the ball.

Who needs to be able to ramp and paddle when you can hit the ball as cleanly as that in front of the wicket?
Brilliant shot from Danni Wyatt.
Don't bowl wide to Danni Wyatt.
Hayley Jensen offers a bit of width first up, and the England opener climbs into it and cuts away to the fence.

I think England will be happy if these two can bat for another 5-10 overs.
Losing three wickets in the powerplay wouldn't have been what they would've envisaged.
But these two run well between the wickets and can keep the board moving.
Sophia Dunkley and Danni Wyatt pick up a single apiece to end the over. Those six balls cost Sophie Devine and New Zealand 13 runs. Could that be the momentum swing?
Wyatt has only faced 11 balls so far.

Devine would've come back on in this over keen to grab another wicket.
But it's just had the opposite effect and handed the momentum back to England.
