I've been enjoying watching Joe Root throw a rugby ball around the balcony during this break. It has been really entertaining.
Oh, for the love of everything.
It's raining again.

It is really frustrating going on and off as a cricketer. You build yourself up and it is a big deal - especially when you're 3-0 down and you've got some people to prove wrong.
You can't just switch off when you go off, especially when it is a light shower.
It is one of those days where the players will end the day with a headache because you're on and off.
The umpires have been out, had a look and gone off to chat to the captains. I wouldn't have thought we'd be in for a long wait, given how quickly the rain has passed.

Samuel: They really should play cricket in countries where it never rains in the summer.
Off come the covers.
I wonder how much of my life I've spent watching people put covers on and off a cricket pitch. Actually, I'm not sure I want to know.
I think it's stopped...

The ball was moving around nicely for James Anderson and Stuart Broad was just getting his length up there, looking to tempt David Warner.

It is just starting to get a little heavier again...
Genuinely, finding a good rain radar app is one of the key requirements for covering cricket.

The clouds are moving fairly quickly so hopefully we won't see too long a delay.
I've had a look at the radar and it is patchy rather than a big blob.

I actually think it is a good thing that England are bowling today.
With the covers you get in Australia you wonder if it traps moisture under them and it just sweats.
It is far more difficult going on and off and concentrating as a batter I would say.
Oh, it's raining raining now.
When it starts raining after 20 minutes, you do wonder if things could have just been sped up at the start of the day, rather than everyone hanging around for half-an-hour...

This is the problem with batting first on days like today - you get these little interruptions and there might be a little bit of moisture on the pitch.

That first guy was running on like he'd done a hamstring!
A member of the groundstaff has come sprinting on like he's running the 100m to get the covers on.
That's not mist...
