It feels like a very muggy morning. It is almost misty.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh have pulled off one of the biggest upsets in recent memory, beating world champs New Zealand by eight wickets in the first Test.
It's particularly extraordinary when you take into account New Zealand's astonishingly good record at home and Bangladesh's limited opportunities to play the big sides in Tests.
It's also a credit to Bangladesh that they returned to New Zealand, as Mohammad Isam explains below.
Brava.

An angled bat allows David Warner to keep the strike at the end of the over.

There was an element of risk there for David Warner.
Shot!
Full from Broad but with too much width, and Warner wallops him with aplomb through the covers for four.

It certainly looked that way. It's a quick, low underarm flick from Haseeb Hameed.

A few England fielders think that would have been out if it didn't hit his boot.
Marcus Harris nabs another quick single, and holds his hand up in apology as Haseeb Hameed's throw deflects off his boot.
Do you know, looking at that on the replay, Hameed's throw wasn't far off. Harris got lucky that his heel got in the way...
In 2013-14, James Anderson averaged 44 with the ball in Australia. In 2017-18, he averaged just 28. This series so far, he’s averaging just 14. His record started poorly and fluctuated, but of late it’s only getting better.
David Warner judges a delivery from James Anderson very well, hefting his bat out of the way and watching the ball ping past his off stump. That'll be another maiden.

A certain type of person: Duck watch... New Zealand on 5 in 2022 already. England on 0.

I can see some blue sky now. I had written today off.
Half a cry for lbw as Broad strikes Harris on the pad, but that looked high by anyone's count.
It's always nice to have Broad's bandana back. His commitment to wearing it despite his hair going nowhere near his eyes is admirable.
Here's Stuart Broad.

James Anderson will still be sussing out the wicket - you normally adjust your length in the second and third over.
It looks like there is good carry and bounce because Jos Buttler has been taking the ball at shoulder height.
James Anderson pings through a series of off stump tempters and David Warner, wisely, decides to let them go through to Jos Buttler behind the stumps.
A clip off the hip gets Warner and Australia under way, before Marcus Harris adds a slightly more frenetic single to the total.

That was a peculiar start because it wasn't a particularly quick ball. Warner took his eye off it and it hit his glove.
He's a bit lucky to get away with that actually.
Hello!
Bounce for Anderson, and Warner makes an absolute meal of playing it and gets rapped on the glove. Ouch.
James Anderson has the ball in hand, with David Warner lurking at the other end.
Here we go...
