Target 170
Oh! Katherine Brunt strays down the leg side and Alyssa Healy gets a thin edge on a flick and ball races away for four.
Amy Jones wasn't a million miles away from it.

England are favourites because their total is above 160, which is par.
Time for the chase.
Can Australia get 170 and get off to a winning start of can England defend 169?
Australia have a new-look opening pair with captain Meg Lanning have to shuffle up one after Beth Mooney was ruled out with a fractured jaw.

It's warm today (32 degrees at 8pm), and the next couple of games are being playing in the day-time. England won't be used to that.
Time will tell if Australia are able to chase 170, but they will be a bit frustrated by their efforts in the field I reckon.
They dropped Tammy Beaumont on nine - albeit any caught and bowled chance is difficult - but mis-fields started to creep in towards the back end of the innings too.
Generally they afforded England too much width too.

Yesterday England captain Heather Knight spoke about them needing to match Australia's aggression and "throw it right back at them". They certainly did that in that innings.
Who do you think will win? Thumbs up for England, thumb down for Australia.

This is a very competitive score. England have been underprepared but, bar the first two overs, they haven't looked it in the slightest.
Four to finish! Sophia Dunkley finds the gap in the covers and the balls races away. She finishes with 10 from five balls - a good cameo.
Australia will need 170 to win the first Twenty20 and take a 2-0 series lead.
Heather Knight takes a single down to long-on.
One ball left.
Four!
Megan Schutt stras onto the pads of Heather Knight and she swivel pulls to the fine leg boundary.
170 is back on.
A single for Sophia Dunkley.
Two more to Sophia Dunkley - through long-off.
Sophia Dunkley picks up a couple out to mid-wicket.
Australia haven't bowled their overs in time so they are only allowed three fielders outside the 30-yard ring for this final over. That is a new rule in international cricket and mirrors rules from The Hundred his summer.

Michael Johnson: Fantastic start in the WAshes for England! But I have to ask, what is one umpire wearing on his arm?! I have scoured the live text and Twitter for an explanation and can’t find one. Can anyone give me an insight?
That'll be Bruce Oxenford and his home-made protection device. Here's Bruce talking about it to Stumped in 2016...
New batter Sophia Dunkley gets off the mark straight away, but the final ball is a dot.
England have six balls left. What can they get up to?

Tahlia McGrath has bowled fantastically. She has adjusted her plans, which is really clever. You can't blame Amy Jones for trying to hit sixes.
Jones c Harris b McGrath 4 (Eng 154-4)
Tahlia McGrath has three!
Amy Jones, rightly at this stage, was looking to play her shots, but she holes Tahlia McGrath out to Grace Harris at long on.
England's momentum has been checked somewhat.
