Everyone is expecting Australia to win this game. There was a draw in the Test match but otherwise they wiped the floor with England in the Ashes. They are the stronger side and they are expected to win. If England do win: bonus!

It was almost one of those where you don't quite believe it. People started playing cricket because of Shane Warne and how good he was - on and off the field. It has been a strange old morning and tragic news.

I still cannot quite believe that I am writing about the passing of Shane Warne - what a player he was; we were very lucky to be able to enjoy him, weren't we?
And as well as the leg spin, he was a good slipper, and a decent batter too - I saw his 90 at Old Trafford in 2005 and would not have begrudged him an extra 10 runs.
And let's not forget Rod Marsh, either - he set new standards on how wicketkeepers needed to contribute with the bat, and off the field he was a selector for both Australia and England, and was involved in the England set-up for that legendary series in 2005 that Warne was so close to winning.

Australia will wear black armbands as a mark of respect to not only Warne, but the legendary keeper-batter Rod Marsh, who also passed away just a few hours before Warne.
Geoff Lemon has filed an obituary to Warnie which is well worth a few minutes of your time.
Play is already under way in the Bangladesh-South Africa game, and they marked the passing of the duo with a minute's silence earlier on.
